The next day I woke up and he was gone, I almost thought it was a dream, but the marks he left said otherwise. I got up and looked in the mirror and admired the marks that he left, I smiled as I traced a bite mark he left on my boob, suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Y/n, Y/n!" I heard mom say through the door. I panicked and threw on this really granny looking nightgown that went up to my collarbone, and then I let my hair down (sorry if yours is short, or if ur um bald 💀🔫) I opened the door, "yeah, mom?" "Me and you are going to Denny's for breakfast, remember?" "Oh yeah." "Welp, get dressed." I nodded and shut the door and I put on my black jeans (almost said skinny, but I forget not everyone wears skinny jeans 🤪), one of my graphic t's because they have a high neckline, and I fixed my hair, and went downstairs to mom. I looked around. "Where's John?" I asked puzzled. Usually he was harassing us by now. "There's a new bar, honey." "Oh." I said. "Well, let's go." I gave a nod as we headed to the car. We got in and mom started driving to Denny's. "Who was he?" I froze. "What - what're you talking about mom?" I said, heart pounding. "The guy in your room last night." Uhmmmm shit. "Don't try to lie, either." "His name isssss Tom?" She looked at me with the look that said my words weren't convincing. "Tom Johnson." Mom raised an eyebrow. "What does he look like?" Uhm oh I know! I just started describing Jeff, without the scars and such. "He has dark hair, pretty fair skinned, nice sculpted strong face, shoulder length hair, a nice thin, but not tiny nose, and blue eyes." I looked at her with a straight face because in a way I wasn't lying. "He sounds cute." "He is." I said. "Did you guys use protection?" Oops. "Uhhh no." She shot me a serious expression "did he pull out????" "I didn't want him to..." "y/n that's a dangerous thing to do"  "I know..." I said feeling a little ashamed. "What if you're pregnant?!?" "Then I'll keep the baby." I said. She looked at me. "Are you sure you'd want that?" "Yeah, but I'm not pregnant sooo" "you don't know that yet." "Well I'm not." I said as we pulled up at Denny's. We went in sat down, mom ordered waffles and hash browns, I got bacon, eggs and French toast. "Jeff broke out a few days ago." I acted surprised. "Really?!?" I said sounding worried. "Yeah, damn near killed Hal, and then he killed one of the doctors." "Huh." I said. She was staring at me. "I don't know what you saw in him." "What do you mean?" "The way y'all were buddied up. You saw the way he was looking at you, he obviously wanted to do things to you. I know he was in our house last night, don't play dumb, he's not good for you." I felt myself get angry. "I don't know what you see in John, he's a stinky, ugly, lazy piece of shit, who wants nothing more than to drink up your hard earned money, and beat you so you'll sleep with him." I said looking her in the eye. "Y/n-" before she could finish I cut her off. "What? It's different somehow?? I love Jeff, and I won't love anyone else like that. Jeff loves me. We love each other." My mom looked at me in disbelief. I looked back at her nervous that I just said all that.
