My love of Warframe and Sonic have finally driven me to draw Ordan Karris as a Mobian. He is a Tosa Inu, a breed of Japanese Mastiff that was originally bred as a pit dog. Loyal, strong and very aggressive, the Tosa Inu tends to attack whatever it deems is a threat. Ordan’s outfit is a simplified version of Excalibur Umbra’s Zato skin, because I like it and feel that a samurai/yojimbo outfit and hairstyle was very suitable for Ordan. 

I thought that the Nocturnus Empire was a pretty fitting stand-in for the Orokin, and decided to create an AU where rather than being sealed in the Twilight Cage immediately due to the Argus Event, they instead captured and studied the Argus, and used their newfound logic to improve their knowledge, advancing their technological know-how exponentially. 

Their Gizoids become much more advanced, and to power them, they use willing (and unwilling) volunteers to undergo a procedure that would basically put their minds into the Gizoid and turn them into immortal fighters. Ordan, who was originally a mercenary used by the Nocturnus to quell resistance against the Empire, would eventually turn on his masters. They were impressed with his battle prowess and had even offered to upgrade him like they had upgraded themselves, but he refused, instead opting to attempt to kill as many of them as he could. However this plan would soon backfire, as the Nocturnus, mad with power (and a bit touched from the Argus’ influence), laughed at his struggling and futile attempts. 

Ordan was prepared to die, having accepted his fate (and failure) but would eventually reawaken as Ordis, the phantom mind ripped from his meat shell and transformed into a kind of AI, to power not only a Gizoid Centurian, but also to maintain and manage other Gizoids, too. To add insult to injury, even after all this, Ordis was stripped of his murderous and loathing of the Empire, and transformed into a fawning, gentle and diplomatic little creature, who loved with his whole heart and cared deeply for the Gizoids. An imprinting nature, Ordis would look after young soldiers and help to train them into fine warriors. 

Eventually, the Argus would break free of its trap, and cause the entirety of the Nocturnus Empire to collapse as they were all sucked into the Twilight Cage. Ordis, however, was not sent there. Instead, his Gizoid was trapped in the rubble of an old temple, which would not be found again for thousands of years...

My Dax-Zato Excalibur Umbra

I really loved the whole concept of a world traveling frame who picks up a little piece of everywhere they go, so i decided to put a bit from every faction on my Umbra after I got the very last The Sacrifice somachord tone.

I took/adapted the pallet from the Dax Nikana Skin and I think it looks really cool. I need to tweak one thing by adding the Ki'Teer Sehkara* emblem on the side with the Narmer-Armor and Corpus leg plates to mix it up some.

it's hard to see here but i'm using the Dax Syandana... I feel like in my HC that Umbra is embracing the old Dax ways and the ever changing Tenno Aestheticism with this look.

Idk why brain randomly reminded me about them but ok, why not. I don’t know how it works.

Anyway. In the picture is Operator Eli and his kubrow Lamarr. I played first-time Half-Life 2 at this time, well I toke names from this. Also I made this pic 2 years ago, I see this horrible anatomy. Leave me alone.

Eli in conception was a Tenno who used to live and protect Ostrons. His main ‘frame of course was Excalibur. Later I forogt about them when in the game I get my Operator Azaela. 

Currently I think back for a while to them, maybe just a reference for fun. Excalibur Zato would be perfect for Eli. I love this skin but I don’t want 3rd Ecalibur for Azaela. Only Theon and Umbra. Enough.

I dunno that I do it.

I bought a commission of my UmbraxOperator and omg, sending the references to the artist (the second image so she doesn't struggle with the details) make me realize how bad I love this pixel, especially with the sigma! Makes me feel women's things.

Smoch smoch, my beautiful handsome hubby. I really need to print all your fashionframes and sleep with that shirt so I can fantazie about you embracing me (?)

Btw, drawing while listening Starset is always a pleasure for me. I associate Warframe to Starset since years, ha, ha.

It's funny how many drawings of the Tennotober are set in Deimos. And, of course, some of them including my Umbra Zato and Ordis!
