“ ‘Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.’ “ Exodus 14:13. . . Have you ever heard the verse “With man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible?” (Matt 19:26). Picture this: the Israelites are attempting to flee Egypt, when all of a sudden 600+ of Pharaoh’s best soldiers come barreling after them on horses and chariots...the Israelites are for SURE dead meat, but then God casually parts the Red Sea (oh right, why didn’t I think of that) and allows them safe passage, using those same waters to destroy the whole Egyptian army. PrAISEEEE. đŸ™ŒđŸŒ God just made the impossible possible. . . Fast forward to today...well, I wouldn’t say we’re necessarily being chased down by an entire Egyptian army, but perhaps you’ve been (or are currently) in a situation where something or someone is threatening or attacking you, and there seems to be no way out; you feel completely hopeless and defenseless. ....But what if we believed that the same God who parted the Red Sea is the God right beside us right NOW, more than willing and able to deliver us? What if we could trust that even in our silence and fear, there is a mighty God and King who longs to fight for us? . . Do not fear. Do not be afraid. For if the Almighty God is with us, who can be against us? . . #livingword #truth #dailybread #YOBL #yearofbiblicalliteracy #day26 #january #exodus #GodAlmighty #invincible #makingtheimpossiblepossible #exceedingourexpectations #Hedelivers #Hesaves #Hesatisfies #toGodbetheglory (at East River, New York City)
