Tyler would be absolutely terrified to go out on a first date with Alejandro. He wouldn’t want to mess up the chance at having a romantic night with someone like him, so he would try and have everything go as perfectly as they could be…but unfortunately, in trying to do so, his stress would actually end up having them go somewhat messily.
Like at dinner, Tyler accidentally causes a scene at the restaurant by spilling a drink on top of the table, even getting a little bit of it on Alejandro. Then, when the two go out for a walk later at the park, Tyler clumsily trips and knocks him and Alejandro both down to the dirt-filled ground. Lastly, while the two were driving to drop Alejandro back home, Tyler’s car ends up running out of gas after he falsely believed that he could easily make the entire drive down over to his house.
That would definitely get Tyler to ultimately break down and admit to Alejandro that he just wanted to impress him and give him a fun night out, not wanting for anything bad to happen during their special occasion…but luckily for Tyler, Alejandro reassures him that he actually was having a fun night out with him! His little mishaps didn’t bother him at all and in fact, they were only strengthening the admiration that he had for Tyler as he could see all the effort and thought that was so carefully put into his decision making. Plus, all of this too had helped make the night even more enjoyable and memorable for Alejandro…as well as increasing the loving feelings that he had for the silly guy he was out on a date with.
So once they got the car back up and running again, the two decided that they wanted to extend their night for a little while longer and drove over to grab some dessert to chow down together. After that, they finally headed over to Alejandro’s house to drop him off, but before they could say their goodbyes at the door, the two set up future plans for them to meet back up again for a follow up date, having Tyler realize that Alejandro really did like him for who he was and saw that he wouldn’t have to try so hard to impress him for the next time. And for that next time, Tyler wanted there to be no guidelines setup for their upcoming event whatsoever, only having one requirement placed for their future time together: to simply have just a lovely time! 💗
