On the one hand, rearise IS the closest we are likely ever going to get to official confirmation on what the original chosen children/digidestineds’ (specifically the girl with the glasses) partner digimon’s child/rookie and adult/champion level forms are. For example Kamemon > Dinohumon > Orochimon > Xuanwumon.

On the other hand considering that the Orochimon (remember, one of the og kids was partnered to an Orochimon as I mentioned earlier) in the adventure reboot evolved from an Eyesmon makes the alternative scenario of one of the original chosen children/digidestined’s partner digimon being a freaky eye demon dragon thing is very funny to think about. Like, yeah girl you go save the day alongside your horrifying eyeball monster friend. Yes I know theoretically ANY digimon could evolve or devolve into any other digimon but still funny regardless.

So, i just found out that this Digimon exists and it's name is Eyesmon and, well, seems familiar?

This Digimon looks like it was inspired by Alucard's eldritch form and i love it 🤩

An Eyesmon who helps their Blind Tamer get around would be interesting

It's a bit ironic, isn't it? To be blind, and having a Digimon that is near nothing but eyes. But it's rather helpful, having the Scatter Mode around as well with it. How the little dark digimon help their Tamer get around so easily, guiding them around.

Eyesmon in Scatter Mode is many, and there's plenty to help in their Tamer's blind ways. Some sitting on their Tamer's shoulders, whispering into their ears, or some gliding along the walls and making sure they don't drift too close to it by chittering or so.

It's very much a very, very strange game of Marco Polo almost. The way they make noises to indicate where their Tamer should go and when they should turn. And with the ability to hide in shadow, it makes it easy to make such subtle noises to aid their Tamer.

They very rarely combine into their usual form, always remaining spread around and many to be of easier aid. And to hide away from the view of other humans as well. They don't need to know how their Tamer gets around, after all. That's for them.

Eyesmon also love to pile on their Tamer when it's time to rest. Some hiding in the shadows, but many resting on their Tamer. And being so small, and weighing near nothing, it's like they aren't even there as well. They do this to protect their Tamer as well. Some staying awake to keep watch out, some sleeping, and so it's an alternating pattern of open and shut eyes.

They also do what they can to be of aid with things that do require to be seen. Looking up numbers for things, cooking food for their Tamer -- which they're Oddly good at, working so well together -- and being sure their Tamer's clothes are on right and that they help them pick things out for the day. Eyesmon is sweet, but only towards their Tamer.
