ur actually evil for this one by which I mean this was my favorite prompt

"This weapon is your life," Lewis impresses, handing George's 'saber back to him.

George scowls. "That's exactly what my Master always used to say to me." Lewis has to laugh—all these months spent learning how to work together as equals, both Generals of Mercedes' new fleet, and now he's imitating George's Master without even trying.

"Maybe your Master had a point, Knight Russell," Lewis teases, and bites his lip so he doesn't laugh again when George flushes bright red. After all, such flagrant displays of emotion are discouraged for a Jedi Master such as himself.

alright okay i cut myself off before i went on a lengthy star wars tangent in those tags but i'm going to count this as you enabling me so here are the three flavors of star wars desert lew: 

tatooine lew - tatooine lewis is an undiscovered jedi. he is well-versed in desert life, but he knows he’s meant for more than this. 

jakku lew - jakku lewis is a rebel in the making. he has a good head for strategy and grand ambitions to make it off planet and contact the resistance.

jedha lew - jedha is known as the cold moon. the sands here are darker. jedha lewis is an insurgent, a renegade. he has a band of freedom fighters that he travels around with like ghosts. guerrilla robin hoods, if you will. they’re a little bit morally gray but that just adds to their mystique.
