Weekend shifts were always interesting. Jamie enjoyed getting to spend more one-on-one time with the kids who came in. As a small town, the shifts at the clinic were expanded, since they were the main place for care in the area. Luckily, his shift was over, so it meant he was hungry. Heading out, he saw Elliot and waved. "How's it going?" he asked, signing as he spoke. Jamie had worked a few shifts with him, as he was covering a shift for someone, and he had the most training in the department. He never minded, it gave him some good experience.

Royal Gala

It was going to be the first night for Alice away from Audrey. She kept checking her phone to see if there were any updates from her mother-in-law. Just pictures of her daughter in her onesie and being cute. She sighed quietly to herself and went up to the bar right over where the band was to order herself a drink. "Some of that sparkling white grape juice please," she told the bartender before noticing someone next to her. She gave a small smile. "How's your evening going?" she signed to Elliot. "Congrats on the little one, by the way."

Vera was making her way around town, looking at everything Merrock had to offer for the holiday. They were excited to check everything out and they even had a list of ideas that they had gotten from their roommates. They stopped by the face painting booth and grinned, seeing the kids laughing while having Christmas trees or glittery snowflakes painted onto their cheeks. “That’s awesome, I haven’t done face painting in such a long time,” they said out loud. “Oh, sorry, were you in line?” They asked to the person next to them.
