Pulled it off the trailer today. Parked it and stared in appreciation. Maybe it’s time to install those parts I’ve been gathering..

Patience is actually beautiful sometimes. It gives you time to think, and even reflect on where you currently are and how you’ve gotten to that specific moment in time.
I often stare at this piece of machinery I’ve put together for time attack. I see all the details and imperfections and specific retrospec times I ran into something difficult or discovered something cool.
PS: showing off some of my treasured RC cars getting some good cleaning in after a rough day on the track

It’s been, well, a couple of life changing months. After the purchase of the bimmer, the truck and my new home, my integra has been in the most stagnant stage since it’s purchase. I finally got around to rearranging some things in the garage with the aid of two 90"x90" five shelf industrial racks to be able to fit the integra in my garage. And money has been a little tight since the home purchase 😬
I’ve taken a break from it all and gone out adventuring for the better half of this year, and it’s been great.
Now it’s back to tearing the integra apart for some needed TLC/upgrade on some parts that’s been sitting on the shelf for way too long.
Somehow in the mix of home purchasing and building this integra for track duty, I managed to buy a tow rig/adventure vehicle (as mentioned above) and an e46 bmw. The truck will have a mild overland/trail build, and the bimmer will be another (rwd) time attack piece. As if I don’t have enough projects right?!!?! 🤦‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ haha, oh wells.
Life is too boring to drive short cars right? Or is it the other way around??

How the race whip will be setup for the next 2-3 track days. Having it tuned next week at @speedfactoryracing!
Bottom right picture is some custom fenders I’ve been working on. Properly laid spray paint does wonders. (Made a garage paint booth due to the shitty weather) Pretty stoked as I’ve been waiting for this tune since the build started. Im having some idle hunting issues but I believe the tune should straighten everything out.
Do keep in mind, I’ve only had this car for about 8-9 months, picked it up for $500 bucks, completely stock, with a shot rod. It currently has more dings/dents than I would like to admit, but that’s not my mere focus this season. (Pictures make it look a lot better than it actually is)
A mild startup setup with nothing too crazy. I do already have a collection of high end parts for the second stage of my build for if/when I am more proficient/keen with my driving. Current getup ENGINE/TRANS/COOLING -97’ P8R Spec B20B from HMO -custom integrated hood vents with lexan plug blockoffs for rain days -AEM cold air intake -AEM fuel rail/fuel pressure regulator -Walbro 255lph -custom braided SS Wilwood power steering reservoir/breather setup -ITR 4.7 fd with synchrotech carbon synchros -RMF Megaphone header/test pipe/BuddyClub Spec II -Neptune chip & tune at SpeedFactory -Skunk2 Alpha full size dual core radiator/Redline water wetter/single manual control pull fan
SAFETY -Bride Vios III LowMax (X2) -PCI solid seat mounts -Racetech 6pt Magnum harnesses (black/X2) -6 point boxed SCCA/FIA DOM roll cage (Godspeed fabrication, Auburn, WA) -Racequip Pro SA2015 helmet (Snell 2015) -Schroth SHR Flex HANS device -OMP One Evo gloves -Sparco RW9 head sock -Longacre 45.1 SFI roll bar padding
SUSPENSION -Stock gsr strut bar (front) -FFG strut bar (rear) -Skunk2 Alpha upper control arms/camber kit(front) -Hardrace toe/camber kit (rear) -Zeal Super Function Coilovers/ Swift F/R-14k/10k -Comptech OG rear subframe brace -Japanese ITR 24mm rear sway bar/ASR end links -Function 7 ITR style lower control arms
BRAKES/WHEELS/TIRES -Wilwood 4 pot Superlite calipers/322mm rotor (front) -Rsx rear caliper/Ep3 rotor combo (rear) -Stoptech SS lines all around/ATE DOT 4 -16x7.5 +35 OZ Superleggera -Bridgestone RE-11A -OMP 350MM Velocita Superleggero suede steering wheel
And probably a handful of items I can’t seem to remember off the top of my head. Excited for the second stage I envision my car at, but baby steps first haha. I’m even more excited for the tune next week at SpeedFactory followed by a track day at The Ridge if the tune goes well on 06/16/16!
Stay tuned! -FF

Been doing a significant amount of work to my Integra the past two days off. -Finished bleeding the brakes and upgrading the rears to rsx-S/ep3 caliper setup (fronts are 12.7" x Wilwood Superlite) -Fitting SPMS front lip/air damn -new oem hood and integrated custom hood vents/aero catch latches -paint stripping a set of 17x9 +27 A-Tech Japan wheels for a winter setup (not sure if I want to run them raw or redo them a different color) -painted the front end after all fitment/prep work (all rattled canned. From what I learned after legitimately painting cars over the years, rattle-canning parts and having the paint look decent and in unity is much harder than using a automotive spray gun. The spread is straight shot versus a spray gun which is wide spread) My reasons of rattle canning the front end are 1. Ease of paint availability 2. Only keeping front end temporarily 3. Car will get beaten on track 4. Track events in a month or two 😋 (competition timelines are close)
