29 June Forever blessed to be born on the day of the Solemnity of Sts Peter and Paul, making them my guides and inspirations growing up. Like these two pillars of the Church, may I always accept the Lord’s will, even when it is contrary to my will, even when it leads to suffering. May I always decide to surrender control of my life and destiny to Jesus, so that God may be able to do great things in me and through me. “Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to thee. Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise. Take my will and make it thine. Take my heart it is thine own. Take my love; my Lord, I pour at thy feet.
