Sixth Gym Leader: Callan

Gym Type: Steel

Callan is a serious, stern gym leader, his steely gaze striking fear into the hearts of many. He is a metalhead to the end, and expresses it through his gym. Despite all of this, he has a very close relationship with fellow league member Pixie, a fairy type gym leader of all things. With the tension of Team Merge hanging above everyone’s heads, he’s become more tense and angry.

Treats his Mawile as a daughter, as he hatched/raised it with Pixie. He plans to propose to Pixie after the problem with Team Merge is ended.

His Mawile is nicknamed Princess, wears a tiara, and is the only pokemon on his team to be in a Love Ball (the rest are held in Heavy Balls).

While he always has a bad temper, it’s the worst with Noel (happy-go-lucky Kalosian that is honestly the Spongebob to his Squidward) and Delaney (annoying Unovian that loves pranking and pestering him into a blind rage, the vibes being similar to the “Annoying Roommate” / “Hey Aaron” video).

His gym is a metal concert setting, with the challenger being made to push through the crowd to get to Callan, who is at the stage. This causes gym trainers in the crowd to bump and push the challenger, creating a sort of mosh pit. Once the challenger beats the metalheads and bikers in a series of battles, they can climb onto the stage to battle Callan.

Callan’s on hand team consists of 4 pokemon (a lvl 36 Steelix, a lvl 36 Mawile, a lvl 36 Armordillo, and a lvl 39 Harponodon).

The badge that Callan hands out is the Ax Badge, as well as the TM for Iron Tail.

A new Qamor region Gym Leader has been revealed! Nevaeh is a powerful trainer from Paldea living their retirmnent in Qamor's sauna resorts, but their skillfulness impressed the locals to the point they ended their retirement and became promoted to Leader! Neveah left to Qamor's frozen mountain peaks to escape the heat, yet it still never seems cold enough for them! 🥵

Once defeated, Nevaeh will reward the player with the Shiver Badge!

prediction/concept for pokémon legends: z-a! it was supposed to just be a doodle but it GOT AWAY FROM ME...

since fantina is french (yeah i know she's american in the jp version) and jupiter didn't get a proper ancestor in legends arceus, i thought it'd be fun if they had a shared kalosian ancestor! plus, of course, jupiter's ace pokémon in fantina's type. lots of purple in this art 🤔

Norre's Fairy type Gym Leader comes in two forms! Sometimes, you may run into a sleepy, casually dressed Faye sneaking off from the Gym to get coffee on weekend mornings...

Apparently I’ve never posted this before? Anyway.

Drew @elbdot’s El fighting Gym Leader Guzma from my little Pokémon fangame idea, Pokemon Eclipse (and apparently that already a game so. I’ll figure something out). With Dusk against a Cocloom, who will win?

… I mean it’s a fully evolved Steel/Ghost against a mid stage Dark/Bug with an eviolite so. Who knows
