He's not. Abnormal? About it? He's just a bit of a dick. Pondshine was disloyal to Shallowclan to an extreme, so he's pretty much dead to Fernstar at this point.

not really! he hasn't even been here a moon, so the only cats he knows (in-game at least) are the ones that were on the patrol that found him
