Gorevwarninggg!!

It was a nice sunny day, birds chirping, flowers blooming..it was quiet and a perfect day to go out to the park. A young raspy yet sweet voice called to his mother "Mom! Im back from school!" A young lion demon chirped. "Oh! That's great, Vinny. Come in here and tell me about your day." Vincent's mom said with her usual soft voice. "I missed you all day!" She kissed his cheek a few times "mommmm!!" He whined "It was only 7 hours!" He sighed trying to push her away "7 hours to many!" She chuckled. She went to sit down, Vincent followed. His fur slightly puffed up from his mothers sudden affection.  She gives him affection when he's off-guard. She has really bad timing. "So..what happened?" She handed him a small snack. "Nothing, really." He muttered, taking the apple "it was boring, as per usual." He replied, and bit into the apple he had in hand. "It was odd, not to mention. I felt like...I dunno...odd?" He continued "I brushed it off, maybe it was my anxiety bothering me." He stopped to think. "Maybe it was...you have been worried about your sister." She exclaimed. He looked at his paw "I wish I didn't have powers..maybe people would like me more.." He sighed and looked away. "Or not be afraid of me cause I'm a demon.."  His mother placed her paw under his "you can't control what you're born with, but you can control how people think about demons. I mean, your father is a demon. Didn't stop me from loving him." She smiled slightly. 

Suddenly there were screaming from outside, Vincent's ears perked up. As well as his mothers.

A male demon about the same age as Vincent's mother came running down the stairs "is everything okay?" "We're fine... it was from outside." Vincent spoke, with slight fear. His mother's silent.."Lily?" Blake called "Lily!" She snapped out of her trance. "We're in danger.." She whispered, whimpering and shaking. "I'm going out there." "No!" Lily yelled "don't! It's  dangerous-" The demon walked towards the door "Blake!" Vincent clung tight to his mother, in shock while being afraid to move. "What's going on?" Another male lion came down the stairs, but he had smaller horns. "Lucifer come here- qui--" the door slammed open. Lily gasped, her eyes shot wide. Lucifer ran in front of Lily and his little brother. With a growl. "Vinny..run. Run as far as you can." "But-" he got interrupted "Vincent, Go!" She snapped. He backed up and looked at the door. He saw the human in the door. Then started running. Another human chased after the young lion.

he heard his mother get hit with a gun then shot. The sound made him run faster. He opened the back door, running into the woods. He was already panting. He couldn't stop now, but his legs were growing weak, he needed to fly, or something, anything. He froze for a second, he was just about to take flight until he felt something grab him and throw him to the ground. He tried getting up but a foot was placed on his back. His wings still tried to take flight, this however was a bad idea. The human stepped on his wing crushing every bone in it. The small creature shrieked in pain. Then felt his wing get ripped off from the bone. He shrieked even louder, shaking and tears going down his cheeks. There was blood splattered on his back, he felt the same thing happen to his other wing. He whined and tried to fight back but he was too weak couldn't. He suddenly felt a foot get placed on his head. He couldn't move. He tried calling for help "HEL--" he felt something pierce his back and something drip from the wound. He felt...blood..it was soaking his back. He felt another stab, he started breathing heavily. He got stabbed repeatedly, everywhere on his body. The human took their foot off his head, then stabbed him in one of his eyes. He didn't feel it, bled out as he heard the human walk away. He blacked out, sugih..im sorry.. then soon after he died.

He woke up and gasped for air, "where am I? Wasn't I dead?.. Why is my eyesight-" he heard a familiar voice "Vincent?" It was sweet, soothing and calming. "You're back- it actually worked-" the small female fennec fox started tearing up. "I did it-" Vincent looked down "why..am I alive? A human killed me- I should be dead!" He looked at his paws shaking. He felt a paw rest on his cheek, he looked at the paw. That fur color.. He thought.. it can't be- The fennec fox looked into his eyes "relax, Vinny. I know it's surprising that you're alive." She said sweetly "do you remember me?" Vincent went quiet, he was thinking..

"H..Halie?" He realized, and pulled her into a hug "you're safe! They didn't get you- thank god!" He started crying onto her shoulder. "They?" She asked, confused. "The humans- they killed my family and I-" "your whole family is dead aswell?"
