Family is really important to me and I love photographing families and children too. So I was delighted when asked to photograph a Baptism and Celebrations afterwards for this lovely family. . The Ceremony was held in the church in Watford and after the ceremony, the celebration lunch was held at Paolo’s Italian Restaurant in Gerrards Cross, Bucks. Here are a few photos from the day - The family asked for a mix of natural, candid photographs of the guests enjoying the day, as well as some more formal groups and portraits if possible. As you can see - the lovely jiggly giggly baby was the star of the show ! What a little treasure! . Today’s selection of photographs . It’s Friday so here’s Floss for #flossonfridays. Floss likes to graze on grass when we are out. I think it’s how she gets to eat her greens! . We walked past the abandoned blue boat. Unfortunately either someone has thrown loads of litter in to the canal or the recent strong winds from #stormchristoph blew it there. . #299 #366photos 1. Floss and I had such a lovely afternoon meeting up in the park with these two gorgeous people. The little outdoor cafe had good long tables which meant we could all follow the rules and keep our distance. I’m not sure when we’ll get together again but we had a wonderful afternoon. . 2. This sort of tent boat paddled by this morning - camping doesn’t have to be like this! . 3. When you have a daughter with an interest in prop making for film then you notice things like this! Well with very little profesh photography kit on hand and speed being of the essence, with so much to list, I settled for this photo as the lead photo each listing. #288of365 #366photochallenge . A selection from today’s meander along in a different direction, beside the Grand Union Canal, where the canal is joined by the River Colne. . We saw a few people out today - mostly walkers, but often we see fisherman on our way by. . And you can see some of the traditional canal boats, one with a smokey chimney in the fresh morning sun. . There’s one of me too - I’d stopped to make way for somebody along the towpath. . We will be going on another walk tomorrow - but somewhere new for us - but still sticking to the latest restrictions as our area has now moved to Tier 2 - High Alert. .
