Fun fact: I made Nia before I actually considered drawing my hobby (and therefore had any experience/practice) so the comic and dress look … interesting/very simple XD

Also, the shit happens comic was a tiny series of short comics about small stupid things that just happen sometimes (ex. stubbing your toe)

World facts

because world building would be the over statement of the year.

Their world works almost exactly like ours (ex. science, jobs, discrimination) but it isn’t supposed to show a real place (tho heavily inspired by real life ofc) and society works a bit different.

The main focus world wise is on one city.

This is (like basically everything about these OCs) still a work in progress, so new things could always get added/ old things rewritten (just fyi)

How they met and how they live

Now, one important thing to know is that most of them didn’t actually know each other until one important event I call: The big meeting (creative I know).

But now is not the time to talk about that, but instead who knew who *before* the BM and how they met.

Some people with a mutual friend also already knew each other before the BM but their meeting is just: hi friend A this is friend B (this is about Johnson & Ori, Taca & Gaia, Gaia & Sia, Sia & Psy)

Somethings here will probably make more sense with at least some info about their world but patience!

Many of them actually life together! Makes sense considering how close some of them are, doesn’t it.

(ALSO this is the same sheet as the one with the general infos!! As I said it did come back later hehehehheh)

Relationships

Many characters mean many different relationships. The basic idea is that they are one big friend group. But, as with every friend group there are some people who get along better than others.

But the relationships between each other aren’t the only ones to consider! So before talking about them, take a look at the relationships they have with their bio-families. Because for most of them those relationships have a big influence on their motivations and some personality trades and therefor their relationships with each other.

Lots of bad parents because I like the angst >:D

Now, because listing all of the relationships/their opinions of each would be too much have the most important ones:

(I tried to make the lines distinguishable not only using colors, I’m sorry it looks messy)

An arrow indicates that the opinion is 'one sided', the person the arrow points at it the person who doesn’t think so (ex Pine sees Gaia as found family but Gaia doesn’t

Also, in the main group exist some 'subgroups'. By that I mean more than 2 people who hang out a lot.

The dashed line means honorary member, someone who doesn’t hang out too much with the group but still could be considered part of it.

Designs

This story (maybe not the right word because the main universe has no real plot per say but rather is a collection of slice of life moments) has 11 main characters.

Yep, that’s quit a lot of central characters, I know, but they are a study of different personalities, ways characters/people can look different, motivation they can have etc. And more characters allow more variety.

For now just a hight chart with frontal view but maybe I’ll make good turnarounds or at least side and back views for them.

Btw, the reason why they are called sea cucumber OCs is because their very first design were based on different sea cucumbers, tho the more I redesign them the less obvious it becomes hehehehe.
