I'm surprised I've seen literally no one talk about this cuz genuinely I find it really funny but to be fair not everyone is going to look in furnishing descriptions for content,,

But, if you do check the furnishing description for "Woven Fruition", it'll mention how a self-claimed "senior" researcher (Faruzan) and an architecture researcher (Kaveh) had an intense argument about the carpet industry in Sumeru.

The fact that "rational discussion" was in quotation marks tells me that it really wasn't rational at all (T-T) there's a few other off-screen interactions between them but I'd like to leave them for another post

I feel like Kaveh and Faruzan could relate to how the Akademia treat their field of study similarly to how Kaveh and Nilou might relate to the struggles of being an artist in Sumeru.

In her hangout quest, she explains that the Akademia looks down on her research in current day as they think it's too niche and outdated for Haravatat's research. Therefore, the Akademia considers it "useless". She disagrees with said terminology as she believes there's no right or wrong to knowledge.

It's similar to how the Akademia might have looked down upon the arts in more recent times, opting for only what they consider to be "useful knowledge" and trying to remove anything that they might not consider as academic pursuits.

Though Faruzan might not relate to Nilou and Kaveh's struggles as artists or necessarily understands Kaveh's values in art and beauty, I think she would agree that any sort of knowledge shouldn't be censored or restricted, and things like art and beauty have their own place in Sumeru.

She is pretty open minded, so I think she'd be willing to learn more about his ideals and what art means to him, as she does value the importance of conversation. She might not completely understand it, but her interest in learning more about him and his values is more than enough in his eyes. I think it would be a nice reminder for him that people outside of the art world are able to appreciate his works, which he'd find touching on her part.

Guys would it be a good idea to make a timely account on Twitter aswell? As much as I don't really like most of the things on Twitter (I use nitter just to look at Kavefaru/Laytham stuff) timely accounts aren't really popular here.

Plus there is more Kavefaru art for me to reblog on there and I'd probably get a bigger reach in general.

Now that isn't to say I want to move this account entirely to Twitter, just have the timely account on another platform.
