That should have been my #goodmorningpost, but I couldn’t find the right words and the right moment. I’m sure those who’s into fashion are overwhelmed with posts addressed to the @manfredthierrymugler passing away. I thought there’s nothing new I could add. But I know there’re people who think I shouldn’t skip the subject. So here I am. I don’t want to post 10 slides with his creations because I won’t be able to choose something and not the other. #ThierryMugler catwalk shows changed the direction of haute couture and fashion in general. His vision made 80s and the beginning of 90s. Without him there wouldn’t be the major fashion names we so accustomed to mention with every occasion, and pop culture would definitely look different. So there’re books about him, museum expositions… he was a legend and his own monument for the last 30 years at least. It’s an epoch passed away, not just a man. His death followed the death of @andreltalley that made my last week felt like funeral march with no end. One wave of losses after another. But, to be completely honest, we should admit, that fashion industry moved on both of them a long time ago. It smashed those, who inspired it and formed it. I didn’t write my tribute to Talley, I do it now. I saw him once and had a pleasure to listen his thoughts for couple of hours. It was a lesson and it was a pleasure to hear a voice of reason, not just talks round and about the glamour. It was harsh, very precise personal vision, that felt sometimes solid like a rock. The rock that as history shows was a shelter for many. I think that’s who he was for the designers he supported, discovered and absolutely sincerely appreciated no matter how young they were at the moment, how inexperienced, troubled or how much money stood behind the brands. He looked for the spark in their creations. For the genius. He knew why he did his work and what was exactly the work. And I don’t mean the job he was paid for but his life. I wish I had such clear purpose. Of course we will miss them both. We had already missed them even before they left us. limiting fashion choices.

As I become more conscious about being more sustainable and living with less (because living with more doesn’t necessarily make you happier), this has affected how I shop. I don’t shop as much and I’m more conscious of what I buy, but I feel more content that I shop for things I already have in mind of what I want, like and “need”. This gives me more opportunity to appreciate the things  in my closet more and not feel too quickly to just donate or throw away clothes. I guess my fashion self is evolving.

Когда неделя моды Москвы в разгаре, а около входа толпится народ.

Люди любят драмы. Люди любят других людей за их драмы. Можно дать этому другое название, например «конфликт» или «вызов».

В «драме» есть то самое, что вызывает у человека интерес к жизни. К боли или любви, а иногда к both. Человек питается чувствами, они дают ему глоток свежих мыслей и помогают повести себя как-то по-новому, решиться на что-то более значительное. (...)

Русская индустрия моды (НЕ ВСЯ) прямо-таки кипит фальшью. Как бы не печально это было, но атмосфера и подход к делу отчаянно кричит именно об этом. Ставя на первое место популярное, уже придуманное кем-то, заезженное, неестественное, неактуальное, «несвежее» - они обрекают себя на весьма сомнительное искусство . Опять-таки, можно назвать все это по-разному, но в сущности, это есть полоскание стереотипов, которые никуда не развиваются и приводят, при сильном старании, к отрицательному эффекту.

Конечно, всегда есть исключения, «радикалы», которые двигают свои идеи, и не боятся, не зависят от мнения на их счёт в «модном» обществе. Общество подражающее и поддерживающее моду- есть своего рода беспомощность (в тоже время что есть бесценный контраст и масса), но индивидуальности, развивающее моду, дают главное - естественный прогресс.

Не могу назвать всех подражателей «fashion people» лицемерами или клоунами, хотя многие из это�� прослойки «подражателей» моды всё-таки пока что не могут набраться сил и выразить своё собственное желание и признать «свою» индивидуальность, из чего происходит сомнительный эффект, говорящий к сожалению, скорее об отсутствии вкуса, нежели о какой-либо причастности к моде в целом. Помимо заимствованного от "божества" стиля, от которого мутнеет их внутреннее ощущение стиля, стоит понять тот факт, что у каждого человека есть самоличное притяжение к цвету и свету, а главное к их сочетанию.

Для чего вообще существует мода? Почему существует столько различный брендов, модных домов? Зачем нужно такое изобилие?

Ответ кроется в нас. Человек - есть уникальное существо. И в слове «уникальность» заложен главный аспект природы человека и природы в целом. Человек, который в потенциале способен на гениальность и уникальность, иногда сам засаживает себя за решётку стереотипов и корысти. Одежда - есть облик, внешнее выражение внутреннего. Выражать себя надо научиться, сначала проанализируя себя, вдальнейшем пробуя, и ещё дальше - экспериментируя.

Боязнь осуждения со стороны «модной» молодежи становится для многих кто слегка “small and week” решающей причиной отказа от своей индивидуальности. Вследствии чего возникает желание подражать и быть популярным.

Секрет человека внутри него. В умении осозновать и воображать, фантазировать. Развиваться. А собственный стиль - это самое что ни на есть, настоящее искусство, где вдохновение и творческий подход - есть необходимость личностного успеха.
