as the last thing i wrote in was my bb, i’ve written a few lines in a diff wip so i can have smth that isn’t my bb fic wksbshsb and because i’m a rule breaker i’m gonna post like. two paragraphs. for context!

snippet from: fall, but you’ll never land

“You knew there was a human, and you still left?” Dustin exclaimed in outrage, predictably. “Eddie, I could have studied it!” he whined, stomping a foot in frustration. “That was a once in a lifetime opportunity! So little is known about them!”

“They’re dangerous, and I don’t see the point in acting foolishly and needlessly endangering yourself!” Eddie argued, glaring down at the younger boy. “Your academy did not send you with me just to die because you wanted to befriend a dangerous animal!”

that’s….19 words…yeah i won’t be tagging that many people xhwbshsb but!

fall, but you’ll never land?

this is the untitled humans are space orcs au! it now has a title! i haven’t written much for it recently unfortunately, but i really want to go back to this at some point to finish it.

here’s a little snippet from it:

“Ed’vasci!” Chrissy’s bright voice greeted him warmly as she noticed him. “Do you hate me?” she asked, pointing a spoon at him.

Eddie stopped short, face contorting into confusion, “I don’t. You’re very dear to me.”

“Then what has been keeping you away, hm?” she shook her head in mock disappointment, returning her attention to the batter she was making.

“We have had a busy schedule that last few sets, please accept my humble apologies, my lady,” Eddie bowed over part one of his leathery wings, lowering his head slightly.

Chrissy’s nose twitched for a few moments before she chittered softly in amusement, “You are forgiven,” she paused, waiting for Eddie to rise before saying, “this time,” as if she wouldn’t forgive him next time too.

Eddie went along with it, unable to help himself. “I have been blessed by Her Loveliness, thank you, thank you,” he spoke with purposeful enthusiasm. He couldn’t hold back a happy trill as Chrissy chittered again.
