also, it comes with the territory, but definitely a degree of prescribed rules and rituals. they're an obedience thing for sure, but steve also finds it rlly nice to know exactly what's required of him, and running through familiar routines helps him settle and stop thinking. and u know steve & tony absolutely had a great time establishing and perfecting it all, too
