Right, I actually would like to use tumblr more again, but scrolling my dash today, I realized what really stops me to a) use it, b) enjoy it is all the stuff I see that isn't relevant to any of my current interests.

So if I unfollow, it's nothing personal, it's just me trying to curate my experience on the blue hell gazette.

I'm so frustrated by twitter fandom drama every fcking day these days that i probs will spend more time here. Just seeing it float around is so draining and demotivating.

I’m weeding out my drafts... and holy shits, it feels like going into Erebor and discovering Smaug’s hoard. All the things I’ve kept hoarding there for literally years. And YEARS. some stuff is in there for almost as long as I have this tumblr, and that’s 10 yrs - and no, i’M not there yet because...

I sometimes write dialogue with just the conversation happening (so no names, not A does x and B does y), and that leads to stuff like that (from my current MSV WIP)

Rewatching cql without any involvent in fandom really supports my view that vicious stans on socmed ruin perfectly fine and beautiful things with their behavior.

Literally every time I see some Guy of Gisborne stuff on my dash I get so nostalgic it's ridic. I lived in the UK back then when it aired, and I had such a good time there and I enjoyed the show a lot. I wasn't in any fandom back then (not yet), left the LotR one a good while earlier. I enjoyed the show, enjoyed the yt ship vids, found spaces i loosely interacted with. Came into contact with N&S over it. Then lost track of any bc life...

but: I remembered Guy. I remembered who played him bc he was my fave .. and then Richard was announced to be part of The Hobbit... and I was excited for it.

I think it's fair to say that BBC's Robin Hood and me watching it 2007 played a major part that I'm here now. In this fandom. On tumblr. All that.

First contribution for TSS (the advent calendar) is ready with 1.3k and can go up when it's due 🎉 So it's time to finish the second one--which won't be that short. That much for bit-size contributions 🤣
