The 59th season of the series was the first to host an official all newbie cast since season 36. With there being a lull in the amount of new faces coming in, this season ushered in a new wave of all newbie seasons that have been leaving their impacts ever since. This season in particular was a very competitive one, and managed to bring a breath of fresh air to the series.

For the 75th season of Tumblr Survivor, we are heading to an island just South of the Arabian Peninsula. This beautiful island - also known as “The Land of Dragon’s Blood” - is home to a uniquely high number of endemic plant species found no where else on Earth. The island’s biological isolation from the modern world has caused it to become the “most alien-looking place on the planet.”

For this landmark all-star season of Tumblr Survivor, we are honoring some of the series’s greatest casts by inviting seasons to compete against one another. Castaways will enter the game on tribes of their respective seasons, but ultimately only one can be the Sole Survivor. It’s Battle of the Seasons!

You know, I had a pretty wild story this season. At the beginning, it seemed less like “Battle of the Seasons” and more like Battle Against My Season... and that was hard to deal with because I love and miss my Great Lakers! That being said, being able to survive as the only person from that tribe from final 21 to the final 12 was something I never imagined myself doing. To add to that, fate was what got me out and that’s kinda poetic. All in all, I loved this experience for all it was worth and especially my fellow players who allowed me to get as far as I did
