But he now knew how to win, and the universe offered him a second chance. The man always offered to help, tried to plead with Tony to head his warnings; but they were only dreams.

What will happen when the world Tony knows falls into darkness, forcing him to learn the existence of things he only believed ever to be a fantasy; and how will he fair knowing that the one man who can help he's only able to see within' a dream.

Tony Stark has become the protagonist of a series he didn't sign up for; but to save humanity from those who wish to destroy it, he must fight and break the curse of darkness placed over the land.

The team is out fighting the big bad of the week, a magician of sorts, and they threaten to blast everyone with a terribly bad spell. Before they knew what was happening, Tony got hit, a second blast was headed right for Steve, but Bucky pushed his friend out of the way and took the brunt of it himself.

Before anyone else could get hit, the magician was captured.

Tony and Bucky both felt fine, and they interrogated the magician on what exactly that spell was supposed to do. The magician only laughed.

"It was a love spell, whoever is hit with the magic will fall desperately in love with anyone else who also has been hit with the magic."

The room froze. That can't be right. Tony and Bucky were just getting to good terms, this can't happen.

"In all honesty, the blast was meant for your good captain. I figure, if both your leaders are out for the count because they can't keep their hands off each other, then it'd be easier to take you all down. But oh well" the magician singsonged.

And so, Tony and Bucky inevitable succumed to the pull of the magic. They faught it... they did. But it was just too strong U.U

Bruce analyzed everything he could to try and help figure a way to reverse the spell. They interrogated the magician to no avail.

Two weeks later, with Bucky and Tony pretending to hate that the spell made them have feelings for each other; hated the pull it made them feel toward each other, they cracked the magic.

It was a sham.

The magician is just a con artist who can do petty magic and there wasn't actually any love spell at all.

Now Bucky and Tony must explain to the rest of the team why they have been so handsy with each other, but most importantly, why they pretended to hate it ;V

Bucky was the Quarterback for his high school team, maybe the best they ever had; but their team just can't seem to catch a break and have a pretty mean losing streak.

Tony was just some nerd most of the football team ignored; little did they know, he loved football.

Tony showed up to their practice one day because he needed to talk to his math teacher, who happened to be the team coach. Most of the team snickered at him, even tossing jabs his way. Tony simply rolled his eyes, he didn't have time for that.

Upon watching their practice for only a short while as he waited, he pointed out a few flaws in their plays; pulling out a pen and writing in the playbook, rambling ways which they could be better without thinking. The coach and the team just stared, shock and awe on their faces; but some still refused to believe they were good plays. The coach had them try a few, they were incredible; because of course they were. Bucky grinned at his team's awe, he knew how smart Tony was, since they were in the same advanced math class and Tony had helped him a few times before.

They won their next game using Tony's plays, and after that they all pretty much begged Tony to join the team. He agreed.

Many years later, Bucky was now playing in the NFL for a nearly undefeated team, but word got out that they would be getting a new coach. He and the team were worried their new coach would be a quack. However, when the day came, none other than Tony Stark himself walked through the door. The team let out a loud HOORAY! 'cause they knew how well known and amazing Tony was.

Bucky smiled, but worried how well he'd be able to focus now knowing that his new coach is his high school crush; a crush that never really went away. ;)

Tony and Bucky wind up in Vegas for two very different reasons. One thing leads to another, things get out of control, and too much alcohol was had. 

When Bucky awakes in his hotel room the next morning, he had a wicked hangover and vague, foggy memories of the night previous. He didn't think anything of it at first until he noticed the stinging ache on his forearm; looking down only left him shocked… 

He had a tattoo of a heart with the initials A. E. S. underneath. 

This was bad. 

He sprang up out of bed in mild panic; he needed to call Sam. They were on this business trip together, hopefully Sam would remember something. A tattoo with a random person's initials wasn't the worst possible thing that could have happened, it could be covered for work after all; and eventually he could get it removed… but still. 

You're an idiot, Bucky. 

Snatching his phone off the table to dial Sam, he froze; there, on the table, was a marriage certificate… signed by him and someone who goes by the name of Anthony Edward Stark. 

Great, this is a disaster!

Tony woke up on his private jet on his way back to New York; he'd been on a business trip in Vegas. He doesn't remember how he even got on his jet, nor really anything about the night before. Not the first time. He didn't think much of it until he felt the sharp stinging pain in his forearm; upon which he notices a tattoo of a heart, and the initials J. B. B. 

Wow Tony, you've outdone yourself. 

It's fine though, Tony could deal with this; he's dealt with worse. He could get the tattoo removed quite easily and if he wore long sleeves until then, no one would even have to know. 

He had no idea he was married.

After calling Sam and having the man laugh for an entire twenty minutes over this incident, they figured out a plan. They found photos from the previous night, and discovered, much to Bucky's horror, that Mr. A. E. S. was actually Tony Stark; like the Tony Stark. 

He hopped the first flight to New York. He needed to fix this. Hopefully they could without anyone else catching wind, he had already been humiliated enough; he didn't need the press involved. 

It took him nine tries to even be allowed a meeting with the man; and that's only because he shoved the marriage papers in one Happy Hogan's face. Happy ushered him into the private elevator to Tony's office so fast he nearly got whiplash. 

Unfortunately, getting a divorce wasn't as easy as they'd hoped; and it being the holidays only made it take longer. Nobody wanted to work, it was Christmas. 

Tony offered to let Bucky stay at his house over the holidays. He said it was just to be nice, but Bucky knew it was because the man didn't want this leaking to the press, and the easiest place to hide something unwanted was at his own private estate. Bucky agreed… he had nowhere else to go anyways, he had no family other than Sam; and Sam went home to his wife. 

Staying wouldn't be that bad. What could it hurt?

They hated each other from the get go. All fake smiles and forced pleasantries. It was an absolute disaster. They couldn't wait to get divorced; if they could sign those papers on the spot it wouldn't be soon enough. 

But was it actual dislike for each other, or were they trying too hard to force that idea? 

No matter how hard they tried to stay detached, to not like each other… it didn't work. It was inevitable. 

Two days later, Tony gets the divorce papers, as he said he would, he doesn't want to sign them;  But Bucky doesn't like him, right? They argue. Tony signs them and leaves them on the table for Bucky. He leaves before the man wakes up. He doesn't want to watch. 

Bucky doesn't understand why seeing Tony's signature on the divorce papers left such a pain in his chest (he does). The pen hovers over the line, his hand shakes; he doesn't sign. Can't. 

He needed to find Tony. 

Getting one more meeting with the man shouldn't be too hard, right?

Clint was running his hands through his hair; his nerves frantic; but he looked up at Tony. 

"It's Nat. She can't make it." 

Tony felt a chill trail his spine at the words. Nat never missed a show. 

"She's okay!" Clint added quickly, seeing the fear in the other man's eyes, "She's at the hospital, hurt her leg… But, can't really do a duet without my partner." 

"I'll do it. I know the dance."

[Prompt]Clint & Nat are dance partners and they have a show tonight, when Nat calls last minute saying she can't make it due to a minor leg injury, Clint all but gives up on their dance. The show had already started, a few dances already have taken place, they can't really reschedule. Tony, one of Nat's best friends, who Clint was just getting to know, offers to do the dance in her place. Clint knows he can dance, but Tony is a hip hop dancer... That isn't even close to ballet. But he agrees anyways, go hard or go home, right. Clint fully expected a disaster, maybe Nat would get a laugh out of it; what he didn't expect was how well Tony could dance and the chemistry between them he couldn't ignore.

Eventually, they meet up again in another town, as Clint is in a bar fight over some shenanigans & Bucky helps him out; then recognizes his jacket. It's not weird, right?

Tony owns & runs a flowershop. He owns a lot of land, growing & farming all the flowers for the shop himself; with the help of his dedicated employees. Bucky worked as a farmer in the flower fields, and sometimes would make arrangements and bouquets outta the flowers which were too wilted to save or ones that just fell off on their own. He figured, just because they weren't good enough to sell, doesn't mean they can't still be beautiful. One day whilst Tony was there at the fields, he noticed the bouquets and asked about them; obly to discover Bucky had been making them.

Tony called Bucky to his office after that, and Bucky thought for sure he was gonna be fired, but instead, Tony offered him a job at the flowershop. "You have an eye for it," Tony told him.

So Bucky left the fields and started working at the flowershop making arrangements and bouquets. Eventually the two grew closer and lived happily ever after, bye.

In just under an hour, he'd be transferred to a high security prison facility. He needed a good lawyer, no, the best lawyer; and Tony Stark was the best. He wasn't above begging. 

"Oh?" Stark's brows raised in challenge, "And why should I, Mr. Barton? All the evidence points in your direction. It's a solid case."

"Because…" Clint hesitated, somewhat losing his resolve at the man's stare. He gulped, but pressed on. "You like a good puzzle, don't you?"
