FOOL you have activated my fixation beam!!!! essentially professor xxxl (yes the kid in the image! you guessed correctly :D) was a 2x4 tech specialist during the turn of modern KND which coincided with what was pretty much the 'new age' of 2x4 tech. a lot of things were being built beyond the need for simple weaponry and transportation and its why KND labs are so decked out and why tech specialists have conventions just to flaunt what they can do with whatever they have lying around. the people that xxxl (aptly named numbuh 3XL at the time) were working under had asked him to see what HE could make in order to make his time in the KND truly spectacular since he was a very good scientist and they knew he could really make a breakthrough! so 3XL worked with his assistant (numbuh 22 - who is mostly irrelavent to the story otherwise he's just an oc of mine LOL) to see if he could theoretically modify knd operatives themselves to become stronger. he worked with a bunch of animal genes and his process was initially if i Blast Humans with these traits then maybe they could gain those traits and succeed!!! which. turned out bad. it turned out bad quickly 3XL didn't want to test it on actual operatives, so he recruited a standalone group (two of the three cowboy kids club), a young adult undercover operative (goodwall), and a few others. the animalization ray suddenly explodes during experimentation, affecting everybody in the room horribly and turning them into half-animals -- excluding 3XL, who was the only person saved in the explosion. having felt guilty about being the one saved from the mayhem (and in general feeling guilty for the experiment going wrong), 3XL devoted his life to finding a cure - to which, as XXXL, he's still working on to this day. the experiments to find this cure tend to affect him slightly as well which is why he's seen with different animal parts each day

major oc plots and scenarios 🥶

Long Post WArning -- beware....

major plots = the overall school-oriented plot, the shadow of israphel plotline, and the heroes rise plotline ... all of these have a couple different subplots too but ill just write about the overall crap. i will also talk about a plot ive had brewing in my mind for millions of yrs but have never done anything with (yet..?)

1.) the general story:

major characters involved: all ocs setting: a major university in america (primarily modeled after NYU and set in a large city like NY but ... i dont want to force them into a specific zone so :shrug:) genre: slice of life .. romance .. funni... about: this one involves my ocs going to the same college and interacting / hanging out with each other after meeting at a program designed to help international students + non-traditional students (lgbt/poc/poor/etc) adapt to university* ... after settling into the school year they form a big roleplay group that RPs on discord... it's just fun slice of life stuff ft. my little guys * this was based off my real life college experience where we had a program for underrepresented groups to get used to university life so i thought itd be a good way for everyone to meet up since a majority of my ocs are either lgbt, poc/international students, or otherwise eligible to join the dang program.

notes: since the next two that follow are fandom oc-insert plotlines that dont make use of every oc, just assume that they're more small group or private roleplay plotlines ... though in all technicality, both of them can be made into like. (original character) is roleplaying as (canon character) :shrug:

2.) the shadow of israphel plotline major original characters: akihito, elena [sometimes guest appearances from others like makoto/markus/cecil/toby depending on how i want to have the story go] setting: shadow of israphel universe -- yogscast original story [i.e., anything that happens in the 3rd season of the yogscast's minecraft series] genre: adventure ... CANON about: xephos, honeydew, and their allies (lysander, peculier, etc.) have to save both the WORLD and old_peculier's crush daisy from israphel ... starting from the YOGCAVE and ending off at the damn desert zone or w/ev, its a big chaotic adventure OC additions & revisions: akihito joins the party (yes its like an rpg fkgfhkg). in my version he and lysander Can be a thing [depends on how im feeling] and he primarily travels around with xephos and honeydew. akihito and elena work with adaephon at verigans hold which, in my canon, is more like a tourist destination/historical museum type place (based on the fact that adaephon has the freaking tale of the sands recorded there... i assume that it serves as a larger historical record place; therefore thats how i treat it when i think about it). not much is changed in terms of the core story except that there are expanded interactions ... i try to keep my additions to this one relatively small but it's so fun to imagine...

3.) the heroes rise plotline [PRIMARILY HR 1 AND 2] [[LONG AF IM SORRY]] (aaand im giving up on the color coding sorry)

major original characters: akihito, makoto, [maybe markus, sometimes i pretend he's the mc but ... ill explain below KFGHFKGK] minor ocs (i.e., they show up either briefly or randomly depending on how i want the story to go): elena/cecil/dimitri setting: wherever the hell heroes rise takes place -- typically millennia city tho genre: adventure / superhero bs

CANON about: heroes rise is a choose your own adventure game revolving around being a notable superhero in millennia city and saving ur parents from prison, essentially. the original trilogy is what i base my plotpoints off of -- the prodigy, the hero project, and herofall. the prodigy is about ur rise to stardom essentially ... the hero project is PRIMARILY where my ocs come in since theres a lot more potential for them to get added; this one is about your hero competing in a national competition to find the best american heroes to join the first USA superhero team or something like that. herofall is the third game in the trilogy and im not gonna lie i havent played it enough to cement the plot into my mind but it ends the major trilogy arc and picks up where thp ends.

OC additions and revisions -- broken down by game

the prodigy: no huge changes to this one except that akihito is mentioned in the background to set up his role in the hero project ... like, ppl will mention him as a major foreign celeb or something. in some variants i have him meet the mc / contact the mc at some point but primarily he plays a small role here.

the hero project: Huge role..... like whole-new-story ahh changes. so in this one theres a pre-story competition going on scouting for the number one international hero to join the american protectorate group (APG; i THINK thats what its called) -- its essentially like the olympics initially ... all the heroes have to go under a huge set of tests (intellectual, physical/mental health-based, power-based, etc.) to get rankings; the top 100 compete and blah blah blah. in this one akihito is the #winner and joins the APG as its first new member [technically like. im p sure rebellion or w/ev the hell is the leader so :Shrug: akihito is the first non-leader member]. for a majority of the story he kind of just works alongside everyone to scope out who's going to be efficient on the team and whatever... one plot point is that he runs classes for japanese/french learning since those are his native langs and its helpful to know them in that case.

theres a LOT with this one like. i might just have to write it as a full ahh story at this point and post it on here. thats where freaking that note about markus comes in, ill probs make him the mc just bc he seems quite ... pliable. like he could just fit in here as the mc i suppose. oh also makoto is a major character too but he's like. a staff member on the med team / works as the like on-site nurse in training #tbh FHKGFKHGKFH [again ill just have to write it out at some point cuase... wow]

4.) the unnamed elemental plotline

theres not a lot of stuff ive made as a concrete thing but essentially i wanted to make my ocs representatives of various life elements (time, space, weather, nature, seasons, etc.) and kind of make it into a thing like that ... i actually made it in FOURTH GRADE but couldnt figure out how to turn it into a big story. akihito was going to be a representative of time (ive kept this as a weird trivia fact -- ex: he's very good at time-based things like knowing what time it is without a watch) and elena was going to be in charge of cold weather (which is why i think i made her norwegian KFHGKFHG).

maybe someday ill get to actually write this one out...? AKLHSDGHKASDG its very cool but i feel like its been made already so idk itd be cool anyway tho

she mostly focuses on making guns and “mains” rifles + shotguns “cause they’re badass”. she doesn’t like using swords or knives as much because she likes being a long range fighter better.

rin is able to generate weapons (and, if needed, ammo) using Energy. she is also able to easily cobble together weapons using things she finds (scrap metal, rocks, wood, etc.) like it’s damn minecraft or smth.

her power set is largely physical/weapons-oriented rather than psychic.

As a result of her childhood being very chaotic, she is grateful for her abilities as they allowed her to protect herself from bullying and general violent attacks against her/her family.

Hero Outfit: typically wears some type of military lolita-style fit (see appearance section); heavy boots + a lot of random accessories (this is dependent on the mission though)

Likes & Hobbies: She is very interested in spooky, ominous, or otherwise dark things. Big fan of horror movies, taxidermy, and “witchcraft”. She is also big into learning about weaponry and has a sizeable collection of (Real) swords/knives and (model) guns.

Dislikes: being cold (ironic since akita is in northern japan and frequently gets Quite Cold), being outside for too long, and various vegetables.

Family

Rin has two fathers who are fairly high ranking members of the Yakuza. They considered trying to resign from their gang once Rin was born* but realized it would be quite difficult to try and support a family as ex-Yakuza members. (allegedly it’s hard to reintegrate into normal society if ur an ex yakuza member so it makes sense but also this is a fake character so i dont care about realism.)

*Rin was born via a surrogate and adopted upon birth. She has an older sister from one of her fathers’ previous marriages.

Because her parents are literally in the yakuza, she has been involved in a Lot of targeted attacks on her family as a whole.

She is technically considered an affiliate of the yakuza but . isn’t like a full fledged Member of it. she tries to stay away from the whole thing because she doesn’t want to be involved in large scale violence.

Despite them being yakuza members, her parents were quite caring and, with support from their freakin gang, have been able to provide rin and her sister almost anything they could want or need.

Appearance

Short, blue-black hair (comes to about shoulder height)

Dark indigo eye; she lost her right eye when she was young due to the freaking yakuza violence and wears either an eyepatch over it … or gauze to make it look more intriguing because she likes being extra

A bit off-putting; she can be quite hot-headed and hostile due to feeling the need to protect herself (due to her environment growing up). As much as she would like to be a ~kawaii~ superhero, she kind of feels the need to be rough, dark, and a bit edgy to stand out. Then again, she’s not too into ‘cutesy’ stuff anyway. This has somehow garnered her many fans and followers.

She is a big fan of jpop despite not liking cute things. But then again, that’s probably just because she likes looking at the girls involved.

Design Lore

Shin, Haruka, Mikiko, and Rin all represent an interpretation of the four horsemen of the apocalypse – Rin = war – the four of them are known by the Japanese name “Yohane no Mokushiroku no Yonkishi” (literal translation of the four horsemen)

came to me in a vision But could be loosely inspired by maki from ndrv3. her name just seemed fitting #TBH

the last name “zeniya” just seemed badass somehow so i used that FHKGKHFGHK

according to japanese blood type beliefs, people with type O blood are “confident, arrogant, competitive, insensitive, easygoing, and natural leaders”

i miss playing yakuza like a dragon but heres rin with her gay yakuza dads to make up for it #loveislove

Plant/Crop manipulation, weaker subsets of life force manipulation. Limited “famine inducement” powers.

She can manipulate plants to grow stronger, weaker, or not at all (though, cause she loves farming and gardening, she tends to make them grow stronger). “life force” manipulation in general can be used for far more than plant growth but it must be practiced intensively. life force manipulation is heavily regulated and monitored by the government.

“famine inducement” powers include forcing people to feel hungry or overriding their ability to feel full. usually involves some mental manipulation to make a person feel constantly hungry to the point of misery or insanity. also very regulated and monitored.

mikiko tries to pretend that she only has the plant growth power so that people don’t get suspicious of her. she never wanted to have the other powers; they just showed up one day.

her name has always been a placeholder but i decided okay why not, i’ll bestow upon u this name.

the kanji in her name 未来子 is made up of mi + ki (read together normally as mirai) + ko which in japanese means future + child #cool … though in that case its kind of funny cause i made her into damn farming. how futuristic :)

she speaks english with an american accent because her english teachers were always american and she watches a Lot of american TV … she’s probably the most fluent of the ~apocalypse group~ (her, shin, haruka, and rin)

her fave american tv show is breaking bad but she also likes watching reality tv and the cooking network stuff. absolutely loves being in the US just because she can watch it without a vpn.

despite being a “country bumpkin”, she’s very very technologically proficient. she learnt a lot of tech. stuff while “desk warming” as an assistant teacher during her internships.

Blood Manipulation + Blood Weaponry; disease manipulation

Able to freely manipulate blood and illness in other people, though often chooses to focus solely on using blood weaponry tactics to avoid hurting other people.

Blood weaponry is similar to what power csm can do, though Shin’s abilities are typically limited to only ~blood swords~ or like. blood grenades. By drawing blood from any source (themself, another person, animals) they can form weapons. The larger the amount of blood, the more deadly the weapon. Weapons can be made from multiple sources to gain more power; this comes in handy during large scale fights.

Likes: the pursuit of knowledge, archaeology, and minecraft

Dislikes: intentionally injuring other people, meat of any kind (due to it reminding them of their powers tbh), and sitting around/being inactive for too long

Family

Their parents were both in the medical field as researchers. Shin often came to work with them and learned a lot about pathology and general medical research and treatments. They decided to pursue the medical path as well, researching blood diseases and general illnesses.

They have no siblings and to be honest, they were an “accident” that their parents decided to keep. :shrug: They do have a fairly large extended family, though a majority of their extended family lives in a much more rural area of Tokushima and is heavily involved with the agriculture industry.

hrrmmmm shin dorohedoro for the namesake… or not, i just chose it because it seemed fitting too. this guy (gender-neutral) came to me in a vision like the others from series eight.

the kanji for their name has no special meaning, it’s literally just black + tree and also heart.

Shin, Haruka, Mikiko, and Rin all represent an interpretation of the four horsemen of the apocalypse – shin = “pestilence” (though, sometimes its debated whether or not pestilence is a real one AKLDSGHKDG IDK wikipedia is so inconclusive.. i like the plague interpretation better tho so im keeping it) – the four of them are known by the Japanese name “Yohane no Mokushiroku no Yonkishi” (literal translation of the four horsemen)

i was going to use the jpn hero name “kokushibyou-ko” (plague child) but yamai-ko seemed more vague i guess .. eh

Family

Haruka grew up on Zamami Island in Okinawa and was hardly exposed to anyone close to her age. She has no siblings or extended family members and therefore had to play by herself for the most part growing up.

To cope with this, she made up “imaginary friends” but realized eventually those were just like. spirits and ghosts. She figured that talking to the deceased was better than talking to absolutely nobody at all.

Her closest friend is Maika, an Angel that she met on a trip to the Japanese Alps in Nagano prefecture. They made a summoning contract to work together, though Maika eventually came to Okinawa to live and ‘work’ with Haruka anyway.

Personality

Has often been described with terms like “cryptic” or “mysterious”. Her superhero persona and skillset have also resulted in her being considered ominous and frightening.

Haruka is very calm and methodical about most things. A lot of people are suspicious of her, but she has always pretended to be unfazed by this, though she is actually quite lonely sometimes. After all, it’s not like she chose her power set.

Then again, he is not really a particularly warm or openly compassionate person either. Usually tends to be reserved and aloof because he feels it’s easier to be detached from people.

“angel physiology” – largely considered an exceedingly rare psychic powered subtype.

Major abilities include divine protection, mind-reading, and “willpower manipulation”. Willpower manipulation can be used for quite positive reasons (i.e., encouraging people to keep living, motivating them, etc.) or … very negative reasons.

When it’s needed, she can create a kind of hallucinatory “room” which she refers to as heaven when using it on people. This is typically an environment made solely for willpower manipulation; it has a very calming effect on people so they’ll submit to whatever she says.

She works together with Haruka as a “supernatural summon”.

Considers Haruka to be her only “family member.” The two met by chance, Haruka had a “business meeting” near the Northern Japanese Alps (where maika was ‘found’) and overheard people discussing that a Fallen Angel had been discovered there. Haruka was intrigued and decided to check it out … she bonded with Maika and formed a type of summoning contract with her. Eventually, Haruka brought Maika back to Okinawa with her so they could train together.

Appearance

Long pink hair; she apparently dyed it from black once and decided to keep it that way.

She has red eyes but typically keeps bandages over them. Often times, if she doesn’t have her bandage blindfold Thing on she just keeps her eyes closed. u_u.

Often has a very blank expression. Doesn’t smile a lot.

Height is kind of dependent on her form. Typically, she stands at about 5 ft 0.

Personality

Maika has some type of permanent amnesia and cannot remember a good majority of information revolving around her life prior to the last few years. She does not remember anything about her childhood or early life but is relatively unbothered by it.

In regular conversations, she is relatively blank sounding, mostly because she has been isolated for so long that she is unused to “normal chats” with people. However, when talking to someone in “heaven”, she is very sweet, gentle, and encouraging. It’s unknown if this is purely manipulative or not.

As an Angel-Powered, she tends to emphasize justice and equality. She gets along better with people who are willing to uphold peace and justice.
