"There's a pretty impressive retro arcade I like to visit, and the food court's downright passable. Good way to kill an entire afternoon and get out of the house." As much as it might not be, it feels INTENTIONAL that his dad suddenly invited Reed and his son around after what happened last night, like he expects the distraction of having Franklin here just might stop him being so mad. It won't, he's set on that, but- it's something to do, at least. Better than being stuck in the mansion. -- ❝..Yeah okay. I haven't really been out around here, guess we can explore.❞ There'd been no reason to, even if Nathan had purposefully loaded the tech in his arm up with more than enough money to go out and have fun - it had just never been interesting to him. He has better things to do than waste time in an arcade of all places. Well, usually he does, when he's not essentially grounded from missions. ❝We able to walk there? I don't have my tech to body-slide us and I don't want to ask my dad to drive us there..❞

Happy Father's Day. Thank you for welcoming me here, out of nowhere and with everything else going on, in spite of... everything I told you about. I'm sorry about making things harder and glad to be here anyway. I miss my dad from my timeline, but I'm glad to have met you. If he'd known I was going anywhere he'd be happy it was to you.

Vaggie frowns at the mention of her vexing anonymous admirer. The guy seems unable to get a hint, no matter how many times she has told him "no", very explicitly and very loudly too.

Threats to do harm were the natural next step. And after that, physical violence.

"I tried to be civil, it didn't work. I refuse to keep dealing with his harassment, so...I had to make sure to be absolutely clear."

And if he doesn't stop even after that, then she will turn her warnings into actions. But moving on...

She bites back a sigh. Again with the Adam-related questions. They are easier to answer, now that their relationship has improved and stabilised once more, but it still remains a sensitive spot.

"I'd prefer not kissing any guy under the mistletoe, but if I had to pick one...I guess Adam would be the lesser evil."

She has already said that, if she were into men, she would have probably agreed to date him. This is nothing in comparison.

"So, yeah, I guess I could give him a peck. But he would be the only exception to the rule."

Sai is literally one of my favorite people on this site. They’re a mutual that’s always been there supporting me and my silliness!! I adore all their muses; both those I’m familiar with, and even the ones I only know through reading content of them on Sai’s blog.

Every character feels…Unique. Lovingly crafted, and nurtured, in a sense — because many of them are mixed media based, and evolve beautifully with time, through the headcanons that Sai develops.

I also can’t recommend their character updates posts enough. Genuinely some of my favorite content on their blog! I adore reading characters interact who are from entirely different franchises…Sai has a gift for storytelling, and crafts whole worlds with words.

I love, love, LOVE a well developed horror based muse — and let me tell you, Scratch is the whole package. Delightfully cruel, savage, and elegant; she really does make my heart flutter in a very gay way. Not only that, but reading through some of the threads happening with beastbitten I’m discovering there is TEA?? I genuinely can’t wait to learn more Scratch lore, and see more stories unfold.

Lyla lilts out the familiar phrase in approximation of her old-standard voice settings. It's ruined by the way she sticks out her tongue after, taunting. She's still glowing a pleased saffron from the show of affection--dimmed for his sensitive eyes, of course.

"I'm always cute. You always think I'm cute. You designed me to be both cute and distracting."

"I'm gonna assume that, by now, you and Dad kind of have a thing for each other. And... I was just wondering how you guys figured that part out. Did you just know? Was it... a vague gut feeling? How did that work out?" If she asks, he's simply trying to figure out the legitimacy of a relationship progression in a show he's watching. There's nothing else to say about that.

"Of course, baby. That's what I'm here for." Sue is patient as she lets her son set the stage. Though, he doesn't really need to give any lead up to the question, but she's grateful he does. And she's at least kind enough not to tease him about his comment about her and Reed 'having a thing' for each other. Her baby boy had a crush? Oh, she would definitely need the details. Later though. Much later.

She thinks to herself for a few moments. Pondering what exactly it felt like to know you liked someone for the first time. It had been so long since the start of her and Reed's relationship, and it had evolved so much over that time. "Well, I'd say butterflies in the stomach is a good place to start. Your heart flutters at seemingly random moments. Maybe you find yourself clinging to their words or presence more than usual. Laughing at stupid things they say that aren't actually funny. It's really little moments that build into the larger feelings."

There's a brief pause before she asks, "Is there something going on? Anything you want to tell me?"

That's Logan, our resident cowboy. Underneath those mutton chops and scowl is a heart of gold, even if he'd say it's pretty damn tarnished. His sharp sense of humor and blunt personality make him one of your favorite people. Whether it's in the field or on the mic, you trust him to always have your back. Been nice to have a little more time together, lately.

Rachel's eyebrows go up. "Are you... expecting me to lie about them if you don't specify? Okay, okay..." Probably rhetorical.

"I love them," she says seriously. "As themselves, not just substitutes, even if they're taking on the roles.... They're not the ones I grew up with, obviously, but they're alike in a lot of important ways. Principles. Quirks. Love. They - if my parents could have sent me to somebody -" She has to stop there. She's getting choked up.

Vaggie lets herself flop down on the plush couch, in the living room part of Adam's hotel suite. A huff escapes her lips as she melts into the cozy leather cushions, eyes locked on where Hesta is resting in her little bed on the coffee table.

Oh, to be an unhatched angel egg without a care in the world, spoiled day and night by its caretakers. After the week she has had, she would be ready to kill to be allowed to live like that, even just for a day.

Lucky, lucky Hesta.

When Adam joins her on the couch carrying the chosen snacks for their movie night, the former Exorcist sinks even lower in her seat, the tension in her shoulders relaxing a little. Despite the loose ends hanging between them, having her old best friend there never fails to put her mind more at ease.

"I really hope that was the last of it," she grumbles out, with an exasperated huff. "I have never been hounded by random weirdos and paparazzi this much, not even when Charlie and I became official."

There had been some malicious comments about how the princess had chosen to date a "lowly sinner" back in the day, but the news had grown old fast. She's still waiting for more of that to come up, now that her true origins are no longer a secret, but it seems that, for now, people are more interested in petty gossip than big news. Not that she can blame her with the fate of Hell still uncertain after the battle.

"I fucking swear...If I get any more creepy shit, I'll throw Charlie's no-violence policy out of the window and I'll commit a gory murder."

Her expression then softness as she looks down at Hesta again. How is she supposed to remain upset with such a cutie and her bow in the room with her?

Shaking her head, she sits up straighter once again, scooting closer to Adam. There's a split moment of hesitation, then she pushes herself forward enough to be able to press a kiss on his cheek.

"What was that you said?" She asks with a playful, cheeky grin. "A couple too powerful to handle even for God?"
