So we have our first song of this year’s Eurovision. Thank you Albania for going against the status quo of diva-inspired ballads. Now I know that ‘Mall’ needs chopping down to three minutes, but the fact that Eugent Bushpepa intends to keep the track in Albanian gives me hope for the nation. On the plus side, it was my favourite of the night and I’m sure many on the twitter feed thought so too.
