who kisses you before heading out to the field to start. who's pre-game, and basically all around ritual is to kiss his wedding band and point out to where he knows you're watching.

who rushes to you at halftime and spins you around in his arms, laughing as you groan halfheartedly about how sweaty and smelly he is. kisses all across your face as he holds you in his arms. who lets you pull a jacket over his body as he guzzles down his water. who lets you towel off his face as he asks all giddy "didja see that last goal? was for you, gorgeous." "i know baby, you guys are definitely gonna win. i know it."

who holds onto you as his coach explains things for the second half. who sits with you when he's benched or subbed. pulls you into his lap and you both watch from the sides, cheering for the team and booing the refs for wrong calls.

who immediately kisses his ring finger and points to you on the benches after he scores the winning goal, breathing heavily and beaming at you from across the field as you go running out to hold him.
