I made Emmeline in 2020 can you guys believe it it’s been nearly 5 years!! I was really into crosshatching in 2020 which is crazy because I’d never have the patience to do that now. And I was drawing on DRAWCAST which, despite being sold as an app for artists, had perhaps one of the worst drawing UI ever created. But there’s something nostalgic about it and how pixelated every piece would turn out. I mean I spent my entire teenage years on it, it shaped me as a person and I met some really cool art friends. Too bad Daniel Cota SUCKS and planned to revive it only as an NFT maker. Boooo. I’ll never return!

Hi hi~ Let's yap a bit...

I've had some tragedy strike me recently, so I haven't played Sims in a while. I'm okay now, and I just started back building. But grief works in mysterious ways, so who knows if I won't go on another hiatus lol.

Anyway, I wanted to update you on my plans for Doo Doo.

Ideally, I want to finish up all the builds (minus special lots like the hospital, police station, magic realm, and science lab) by next week. Once that's done, I'll be reaching out to those who volunteered to playtest the save. If all is well, I am planning on releasing a beta version of Doo Doo (Doo Doo Lite - woo!) at the beginning of August. This version will feature all the completed builds, but as far as townies and lore goes, that is still a work in progress.

So, when will I officially be done? Who knows! LOL

I am aiming to have the final version of Doo Doo (with everything completed) released by mid-September. But again, who knows...

Also, Ihaveayoutubechannel 🫣. I've had one for a while now, and I post very scuffed long form video diaries of my work on Doo Doo. So, there's that if you're interested... I'm quite shy and wanted to keep this hush hush, but for personal growth, I'm forcing myself to put this information out there lol.

ngl weirdly salty that there's already like an Established Leon Lore guy. does not matter how much i meticulously document everything about DSC lore, literally no one will ever come to my ask box on @leon-stupid-kennedy to ask a lore question. I guarantee if the vast majority of my mutuals had a question related to Darkside Chronicles Leon they wouldn't come to me, they'd run straight to highball. don't get me wrong highball is GOAT, but like when it comes to Darkside specifically I'd say I'm more useful. like I'm not trying to be arrogant or say I'm a Leon expert or anything but I don't think he's even played DSC ever, I had to get him screenshots of costumes once when he posted about not being able to find them and also he wasn't aware that the cutscenes are pre rendered or whatever so costumes don't work in them. I have a phd in darkside chronicles at this point but i don't have cool name recognition so why even bother asking me when you could just ask highball because his word is gospel who cares what anyone else knows about leon

Like even outside of darkside i feel like i have enough cred to be someone who would maybe get a luis lore ask once in a blue moon bc ive analyzed his fucking trash can and found a HIDDEN ROOM IN HIS HOUSE NO ONE ELSE HAS EVER GONE IN but nope no one cares about heathers thoughts at all! my opinions are worth nothing i exist to pump out gif and screenshot sets. the only time i get headcanon/lore/anything asks is when i pathetically beg which makes it less fun! :) literally how the fuck do people judt get spontaneous asks.

I do so much work taking screenshots of EVERYTHING and compiling lore and no one gives a shit because I'm not some household re fandom name like highball or eric. I'm the weird loser outcast of the fandom that's never fully included. You'll drive by and maybe slow down and reblog a gif set of mine or a shit post, but you're keeping your windows rolled up, you're not engaging with me.

Once in a while I'll get thanked for what i do but idk it just rings hollow sometimes. Ppl tell me ive done so much for the fandom but the fandom doesn't seem to be aware of that seeing as a lot of re blogs that interact with my mutuals constantly refuse to follow me or engage with me in any way beyond reblogging my shit posts :) literally people who joined the fandom long after I did have more RE mutuals than me. whenever a new person pops up in the fandom everyone flocks to them and they'll follow back and interact with a ton of people, but not me! :)) like do I need to change my blog theme? Trash the ugly wall of disorganized text. Oh wait no that won't do anything because even when I had a super clean/neat/organized blog description I was ignored like I am now :)) something about me is inherently off putting to other RE fans and I should just give up <3

shepard's hands are occupied, and so he shakes his head wildly to chase off the sweat running down his brow. a trip to pandora wasn't part of the sr-2's initial course ... as least, it wasn't until several hours ago, but he's here as another small favour to admiral hackett. " garrus. this is shepard. i ran into enemy forces about 4 km east of our drop point. " hackett had given them a general area where an alliance patrol had last been in contact some weeks ago before going silent — so shepard and the ground team split up and fanned out, with another group out on the hammerhead following a nearby coastline and another on the shuttle above, scanning the treeline. " rda — anyone you know from your time on omega? "

a negative from archangel, as shepard expected. with garrus and thane on their way over, he radios the information back to the ship; knowing cerberus' extensive reach, edi is certain to have something more specific in its database.

shepard leans over and picks up his helmet, stepping through the grass in hopes of finding a place to perch until someone arrives. he stumbles — trips over something nearly invisible in the grass. he twists his head back, eyeing the patch of offending ground. a gleam of metal blinks up at him, almost smug where it's tucked beneath the greenery: a flask.

shepard turns, draws his leg back, and kicks the flask as hard as he can. it rockets forward in a near-horizontal line just inches above the ground, smacking with a resounding clang! against the helmet of the soldier he'd just rolled over into the grass. the force of the impact nudges the deceased's head backwards before the flask bounces a whimsical step away into the tall grass.

shepard blinks towards where the flask leapt off, then stares open-mouthed at the soldier's shifted head. then back and forth between the two again.

' that wasn't very nice. '

the voice startles him out of his disbelief at his accidental transgression. shepard glances around in slight alarm, the hand cradling his helmet against his hip loosening in the slightest; his other hand tightens its grip on his gun.

" all right. you've got a sense of humour. " his mind races as he glances around, searching for any sign of movement in the trees. his translator had proc'd; beneath the words he heard a crisp and trilling alien sound. whoever this is isn't RDA, then. the unit he encountered, at least, was comprised of only humans. he's more than familiar with the sounds of asari, turian, quarian, krogan and batarian language by now — this was none of them. a native to pandora?

he lowers his gun just slightly. " coast is clear — i'm not RDA. " clearly. the shootout, he thinks, left little room for alternate interpretations.
