Sitting here thinking that animated stories aren’t as good as they used to be because they’ve lost touch with the original 2D medium. Stories were better because producing them was time consuming and costly. They had to be good in order to pay off.

... we don't actually have cable TV or anything like that at home ... the stuff that flows forth over the airwaves or through the wires (especially the commercial news media) just damages my health.
But every once in a while I'll read about a show that intrigues me, and we'll put good old bit torrent to use with our Apple TV.
Last week in Honolulu I read a review of the Showtime series 'Homeland.' Thanks to the wonderful combination of Vuze and Apple TV, I've watched the first ten episodes this week.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reviewer described the show as an adult version of the popular show '24' (which I have never seen). Interestingly, 'Homeland' is an American version of an Israeli television series.
I'm in.  'Homeland' is a great show.
