I have spent more hours than I can count choosing and listening to these playlists ( just the same amount of hours that I've spent thinking about the raven boys and their antics)

so here it is. I have made a playlist to each one of the boys and had the best time doing it, too.

noah is so sweet to blue. my heart aches at every little detail of their interactions - how he's always touching her hair, always close to her, he's so sweet and is often showing tenderness towards her. it's so lovely. to me, their friendship is one of the best from the books. it feels like he's trying - by showering her with these sweet little touches and words - to express how he's grateful for her energy and company. love them so much.

my best friend is going to read trc and i took it as a sign to read the books ONCE AGAIN this year.

the raven cycle is such a world stopping, life-changing universe. the way this group of teenagers is trying so hard to find - and to understand - themselves in this world full of magic and history is so earth shattering; because yes, i'd also feel like i didn't know who i was when i was 16, and yes, i also felt like everything was so big and every emotion was so overwhelming - just like them. this beautifully written universe of magic, and love and friendship, and family is so relatable when you're 16, and, surprisingly, just as relatable when you're 20. i already miss them. (alternative title to This: i Just finished the dreamer triology and i'm so sad)

i love the raven boys foreshadowing so much like when ronan says im always straight (he's gay and a liar) and adam says oh man that's the biggest lie you've ever said (ronan's second secret was adam parrish)

i think that before adam fell in love with ronan, when they kissed, adam felt deeply desired. i think often about the moments that adam said he didn't know love, because he grew up without it, and that he got to know it from his friends - even if it was brief, or the kind of love that it's different from his blood family -, so when he started to understand love, and when he noticed - after a failed attempt of a relationship with blue - that he is, in fact, wanted, desired (by ronan) that was the moment he accepted it. haven't read the triology yet, but i Just know i'll go crazy over adam.

ronan panicking over the possibility of adam not getting into heaven because of his "agnostic tendencies" is so funny bc first of all you two are literally having premarital gay sex and second of all adam has killed a man
