I just…I was having fun talking about possibilities, but it makes me so upset when people clown and then get mad that the thing they made up didn’t materialize. I don’t see it much here because I follow the right people but I hear about it or see it on tiktok. So I wanted to be clear that I am neither demanding she release something (anything) beyond what is already promised (Eras Tour movie and 1989 TV) nor will I be mad at her if she doesn’t. If she releases nothing for the next five years I’ll start to get a little antsy hoping for something, but, like, she has to do what feels right to her. And I will always be grateful for whatever she’s giving us.

Look the part of my brain that is that Always Sunny murderboard meme about crossing the Midnight videos over with IWTV in the most bizarre way possible is also rolling on the floor like a cat that got into the nip cupboard about it. The explicit callbacks between the 1970s and now, the use of midnight as a liminal space, the way that this album focuses so tightly on the feelings of midnight rather than the things that happen at midnight, just. asd;lfkjsa;lfjlsa;.

(Also I'm sad that Taylor and the hunk were super adorable I was ready to turn that opening meet me at midnight into a sequel to my first fic that you and ten other people read.)
