so normal about flapjack s1 e17 (lying)
#moony speaks#still insane to me that cartoon network will wave steven universe in everyone's faces for pride stuff (makes sense. not complaining)#and then completely ignore the fact that a show made years earlier was able to just straight up make an episode about#the main character being a trans boy who's constantly accidentally getting misgendered#and then he fucking gets transition surgery at the end!!!!!! and he's happy and everyone's happy and everyone knows he's a boy!!!!#like they refuse to acknowledge their old shows even exist nowadays anyways so that's an issue#but come on. it'd be so easy to just fuckin air that episode again in june or something???#flapjack was the first major queer cn character and i want him to be shown more love for that#sorry this is still a kids cartoon and i dont wanna be too serious about it because again. not meant to be deep dive worthy. im done now
