There are many things one could expect in the airspace about Sortiarius - however, an enraged Mutalith Vortex Beast, flailing its many extremities and shooting blasts of abnormal energies everywhere, coming crashing down from orbit was usually none of that.

In the wake of the falling monstrosity a certain humanized demon engine followed, all claws and teeth primed to shred into its distracted prey.

There's several reports coming in, mostly from Tzaangor Shamans and Sorcerers - the moment they step on a floating disk, an unknown assailant attacks them. Whatever it is has no interest in ground troops, but the moment someone starts floating, it shows up, rushes by, and leaves only bullet holes and claw marks. The identity of the assailant is unknown. Attempts to catch the attacker by summoning a swarm of Screamers a mere nine inches away from the target have failed. The flying demons were torn to shreds.

They are all expecting Magnus to do something about it.

The sorceress sighed as she listened to the report. It seems the curious creature was back again. The more... humanoid heldrake @ask-heldrake-chan. She couldn't imagine she would be overly happy at how Magnus brushed her off. Although the primarch was curious about such a creature, she found it near impossible to communicate with her beyond her rather base instincts. It frustrated Magnus, of course. Such a creature being capable of speech clearly indicated her capabilities to learn further but it could not get past its own primordial programming.

Very well, the Heldrake couldn't resist a flying target? Of course the Crimson Queen would oblige. Magnus opened her wings up to their full span before taking off into the skies, her bladed staff at the ready.
