Scrunkly Week: Day 3

It had been a while since the Floogals left Earth, but the three assigned for that mission still videochatted sometimes.

Hey Fleeker! How's everything going?

Never better, Flo. Joining the Expedition Corp was the best choice I ever made!

Flo wasn't surprised by that- the Expedition Corp searches new areas of the universe in order to find safe planets for the Research Corp to learn about further. Captain Fleeker was always a fan of adventure, so it's a wonder he hadn't joined that group sooner!

*call added* Hello? You guys there?

Boomer! Nice to see you.

Nice to see you guys too! Oh, I have something to show you!

...Uh, a banana?

Not just any banana, one that tastes just like those banana-flavored candies! I always wondered why those tasted different, but now, they don't have to!

They all laughed about that. Boomer sure had grown from the Junior status he had back then(signified by a single vertical stripe on his helmet) to a certified Specialist(signified by a single horizontal stripe) of culinary works. And they did have to admit, bringing those fruit samples back to planet Floog with them was a good idea.

I thought our mission there was over!

I thought so too, but recent evidence suggests there's more to discover. Something called 'cultures', that makes Hoomans too complex to get a full picture from just one family. They're sending two teams this time, to two different areas believed to have connected cultures.

She pulled up a map: one location was on the eastern side of South America, and the other was a set of islands on the eastern side of Asia.

I'm on the island team.

She saw their pained smiles. Truth be told, they all wanted to return to Earth someday, that mission meant a lot to them. And now, only one of them gets that chance. They really were happy for her, but still.

Finley has been asking for #Floogals toys since the day that show premiered. I'd written about them on my site, and even shown some previews, but we'd never come across them in the wild until last night during a visit to @toysrus @trubrugurnee. As usual, Just Play did a fantastic job with these. Boomer, Fleeker and Flo as Finley put it "are so awesome because they're the same size they would be in the show." Kid finding real tiny aliens spaceships like small toy sized in his room Hiding among the toys. flying in their house and the tiny spaceships fight with one another. The children intervene to stop the fighting and hide the spaceships in the room together with toys.
