I think we all dream what would happen if Hayley really went and did a solo tour. This is my brain’s version of what that would look like. A poster and a setlist.
I titled this descansos partly due to the fact that I think doing a tour like this would be a way of laying to rest these solo ventures. Not in a necessarily sad way or as a goodbye, but more of an acknowledgment of the past, an appreciation for passage through the pain, a gratitude for a blossoming life and growth of a grounding love story. For me, the term summed up even parts of PFA so it felt appropriate.

Posting this before the sky wakes up where I am. I've kept these lyrics close to my heart since FFV's release, nestled safely in the part where all of love's fairy tales lay warm and cherished. Whenever I see a cloudy sky about to fall apart, I think of Hayley's lyrics, about the sky pouring its feelings out sometimes. I've wanted to create something for the last verse of the song, but could never find the time or a concept that was ready to take flight yet. It's finally found its way around the clouds. I was thinking of picking petals out, and it turns to feathers. Like our worries blowing away in the wind. I have so much love for this song, and can feel its message like a sigh carried away with a quiet breeze. It's tender, sorrowful, and speaks its truth in a gentle way.

and when Taylor Swift said, "do something, babe, say something lose something, babe, risk something, i got nothing to believe unless you're choosin' me"
and Hayley Williams said "In a million years never thought I'd see, the day you would choose your fear over me"
