Raising a child when he wasn’t prepared for it was difficult enough... but it was even harder when painful feelings come easy every time he looked at their faces. 

    “ Nikki-chan, I think she’s lost. ” A tiny voice snapped him back into reality, he raised his head to greet his darling with a smile then looked to where she was pointing. An eight-year old, huddled against a tree with tears in her eyes. He heaved himself off the bench and took her small hand.

         “ Let’s go help her find her mom and dad alright? ”
