#flustered nervous Buck on a first queer date is gonna be funny af tho

I am still cheering hard for eventual buddie canon, but in the meantime (speaking just for myself) I am looking forward to watching Buck learn and grow as he embarks on this first queer dating experience. Also now that Buck is fully revealed as bi in canon with no ambiguity, my ultimate ships on this show are The General Audience + Bi Visibility, Buck + Happiness, and Eddie + Happiness. Buddie endgame would thrill me, but if things go a different way it won't completely destroy the whole show for me. I do understand how and why it might for some, and that's valid, but the only thing that would have completely ruined it for me is if both Buck and Eddie remained 100% straight because it would mean all the passionate and vocal audience support for a bisexual Buck storyline, and/or deeply closeted 30something man wrestles through internalized homophobia to comes out storyline for Eddie was totally ignored in favor of shallower, less trailblazing options. I guess the summary of where I'm at with this show at the moment is: I'll be disappointed if canon buddie never happens because I've been invested in this amazing relationship for 6 years, watched it develop, etc. But watching Buck go through the journey of bisexual self discovery and learn to thrive in the queer community is meaningful and important enough whether it leads to buddie or not. So that's where I'm at, mates.
