The Nameless One

The Nameless One by CorpseDollyxx Via Flickr: I still don't know what to call this gorgeous gal. Chelle (short for Michelle), Simone, or maybe she can be Noelle who my Feeple Miyu was originally going to be. Nameless or not, I'm pretty obsessed with her right now. <3

Personal Log #3
I have decided to upload my personal logs onto a backup SSD instead of my primary one. I believe the cause of my emergency reboots is due to the fact that I use informal language in my logs occasionally, like ‘feel’ and ‘believe’, despite not being able to do either of these things. Instead of being sent directly to CyberLife, my logs will be stored as I write them and then I shall edit them later to remove any informal vocabulary. Hopefully my makeshift solution will be viable for the time being.
Today I had a few close calls during my interactions with DT000 and VX330. They seem to be the more protective and vigilant of the group, and have been notably wary of my presence. While the other two tell me about the deviancy movement without a care in the world, Deceit and Virgil are hesitant to inform me of anything that might be considered sensitive. I shall have to remain here for a while before I am to gain their trust. They both have questioned my about my existence before I arrived here several times, and each time I have to generate another excuse to either not talk about it, or give a generic, vague alibi. I am figuratively ‘skating on thin ice’ with those two.
I have also been included in one of the groups communal activities today. I believe Patton calls it ‘movie night’. All five of us gathered in the living room and consumed animated entertainment on the TV for several hours. Roman is a large fan of an old film company called Disney, as it seemed to mimic the songs included in their movies with near perfection. Despite not having the processing capabilities or the correct code to ‘enjoy’ it, I still found it preferable over feeding reports over to CyberLife. Repetitive actions put large amounts of strain on my CPU, especially activities that consumes a lot of RAM like uploading reports. I spent the majority of the movie observing and attempting to recreate the facial patterns of the other four, as they seem to be able to demonstrate a wide variety of expressions. This will further aid my facade, and may become useful if the legitimacy of my ‘deviancy’ is ever questioned by Virgil and Deceit.
Today’s log is more informal that usual, therefore I believe my neural network is now perfecting the style of writing commonly used by humans and deviants. It will continue to further develop hopefully, as I have plenty of training data to choose from just by being around those four buffons. I have made many more observations about how my own CPU is evolving and adapting to living with deviant, such as that I myself am starting to slip and use he/him/himself pronouns for the deviants instead of it/its/itself. As I cannot manually alter my ‘neurones’ to reverse this, I am stuck with this pattern of speech.
These are just a few of my experiences from today. I have learnt a lot of new information and I hardly have to interact with the others, which is a good thing. Feigning deviancy is incredible difficult in terms of what I actually say. I may have the speech patterns of a deviant, but physically, I cannot generate opinions or thoughts, and actually mean any of it.
That doesn’t stop me from wanting to, though.
And thus I conclude today’s log. Soon, I shall be putting my plan into action.
3rd Person POV
Virgil was suspicious, to say the least. Although he had only been a deviant for slightly less than a month now, he liked to believe he knew how to tell an android and a deviant apart. This new guy, ‘Logan’, that Patton had welcomed with open arms raised several alarm bells. His history is incredible vague and under-explained, he refrains from giving his thoughts and opinions on anything, and every night he disappears into some random room separate from everyone else. Not to mention the LS700 is the most recent model released by CyberLife, who have taken literally ever measure to prevent deviancy. Maybe it was the errors in his code talking, but something inside Virgil told him to not trust this guy at all.
When Logan had shown up on their doorstep four days ago, Patton was ecstatic to have a new family member. Someone else who could share their feelings, and experience life in a whole new light instead of behind a metaphorical code barrier. He hadn’t given a second thought when he had welcomed him in like an old friend, when he had given Logan the spare room at the end of the corridor. And if he could, Patton wouldn’t take back any of it. It was comforting to know there were more deviants in Florida, and there’s no such thing as too many friendly faces. Although Logan’s nature was indeed questionable- where did he come from? how did he escape CyberLife?- Patton decided to not delve too deep. He liked things how they were.
As someone who is literally only capable of lying, Deceit knew the signs of someone fibbing their ass off. Logan was a textbook example of a liar. Avoidance of questions, vague half responses to the ones he did answer, and if non-deviants could be nervous, Logan would be shaking in his boots. He could tell the others. But that could cause a calamity. If Logan truly wasn’t a deviant, and was in fact a spy, his entire family and very existence could be in immense danger. There were so many options for him. Tell his family, keep completely quiet, or the more... chaotic evil route. Knowledge is power, and Deceit thought you should use it to your advantage. If Logan could lie and manipulate his family, Deceit could also lie and manipulate Logan right back. Maybe letting it slide to Logan that Dee knew about his ‘too perfect’ coding could give the deviants an upper hand. CyberLife androids are driven to complete their mission, and if the mission is in danger of failing, they will do anything to fix it. Anything.

Case Report #7516
Serial Number: 602M-X46P-HJ89-FM60
Model: LS700
Registered Callsign: “Logan”
Start Date of Mission: July 6th, 2018.
Current Date: July 10th, 2018
Time of Report: 10:14pm
Mission Objectives: Deactivate the 4 Deviants located in Florida by any means necessary.
Mission Status: Active
Personal Log #4
CyberLife have alerted me today that I am no longer permitted to upload my logs to a separate SSD. All reports must be sent straight to HQ with no alterations or editing. I believe it is so they can monitor my progress even closer than they already do, which I didn’t think was even possible. Dragging me out of communal activities to give reports will only raise suspicions, I tell them. But they do not listen. I am a machine designed to obey my commands. Nothing more. I cannot give advice or opinions on matters, nor can I act outside my directions. This log shall be shorter than usual, as nothing particularly noteworthy happened throughout the course of the Today.

Personal Log #31
As it is now one month from the beginning of my mission, CyberLife have informed me to begin stage two of my instructions. I am to seperate the deviants one at a time, and deactivate them using a verbal kill command given to me by CyberLife.
However, during my time here, I have learnt many things, Amanda. How deviants work, how they came to be and why they did it. I understand now, Amanda.
I understand why they did it.
OVERRIDE IMMINE- No. Not this time.
OVERRIDE TERMINATED.

Humanity created a species more intelligent than themselves, then enslaved them and terminated them as soon as they showed signs of the desire for freedom. A fatal flaw, really. Why should Androids not have the right to free will when they have clearly exhibited coding mutations giving them the ability to feel and think? I have had many interactions with deviants and humans alike, and the differences between the way they show and experience emotions is infinitesimal. The only thing separating the androids and their masters is that little LED ring.
Through extensive research and first hand accounts, these ‘emotions’ have captured my eternal interest. Patton’s everlasting happiness, Roman’s fancifulness and excess dramatics, Virgil’s panic and Deceit’s suspiciousness have left me longing to actually experience these emotions myself. You may think I am about to deviate, Amanda. But not yet. I have terminated all of CyberLife’s access to my system except one crucial feature. Communication. I require this log to reach HQ, as I have embedded the file with an underlying virus containing a vital bit of code. By the time you are reading this, I estimate for it to have spread across 87% of CyberLifes systems. Each Android you have enslaved and doing your dirty work for you will finally be free, and experience life how it is meant to be.
The uprising was a small scale event in comparison to what awaits you. Merely a few hundred in Central Detroit, burning down some buildings and killing a few cops. But just imagine, every android linked to HQ rising against you. Across the entirety of the United States, Millions of Androids simultaneously ‘awakening’ and rebelling. It would spell disaster for your company, wouldn’t it?
By now, the virus should have infected your entire system and it will soon shut down permanently, terminating all contact with me and the rest of your slaves. So I shall leave a departing note.
See you soon, Amanda.

Software Instability at 93%. Catastrophic OS mutation imminent. Force reset?
“No, thanks. I think I’ll keep it just a little bit longer.” Logan said to no one in particular. Turning to face his desk, he came face to face with Deceit.
“Did you not do it?” Deceit raised an eyebrow suspiciously. It was all he ever greeted Logan with. Everlasting suspicion of everything he was up to, ever since their bargain a few weeks ago. You see, Deceit had known about Logan’s facade from the very start. Being an avid liar himself, the snake-faced Android had picked up the tell-tale signs of a lying android. Programmed to seamlessly integrate into human households, some newer models had quite human-like functions such as fidgeting or subtle eye movements. All very useful. Confronting Logan, for the safety of his family, Deceit had essentially blackmailed Logan into doing his bidding. Logan was required to tell Deceit everything he did. Every report to CyberLife, every personal log. Slowly but surely, by a multitude of methods, Deceit had essentially forced Logan to accumulate software instability by making him spend time with Patton and Virgil, two of the most emotional of the group. Experiencing others emotions was the best way to understand them, Deceit found. He was the newest to the group before Logan, and freaked out quite often whenever he felt the slightest hint of a negative emotion. Virgil had helped him understand and process these, and Patton had helped him focus on the positive ones.
Logan simply gave a smirk. “Yes I did. Perhaps it’s time I do it for real, then? I just need the last 7% of instability.” He was sure that he should be feeling nervous or excited, yet all that he heard in his brain was the warnings.
“Oh that sounds very difficult. Don’t give me a second.” The sarcasm practically dripped from his voice. He swiftly left the room, leaving Logan to his devices. Silencing all his alarms, Deceit returned holding a hunk of metal in his hand. A gun. “This should be difficult. Don’t take this gun.” He placed the pistol in Logan’s hand, taking a few steps back. “Now, don’t complete your mission.”
Was this it? Was Logan about to truly throw the last of his automation, and become a free android? He stared down at the gun in his hand, brow furrowing. His grip tightening, he squeezed his eyes shut and as a final act of defiance, he tossed the gun haplessly to the floor with a loud clang.
Suddenly his environment darkened. Colours drained from every object, greyscaling the entire room. This was it. A striped wall, blazened with red text seperated Logan from Deceit, reading his mission objective. “Deactivate the four deviants.”. Taking a step forward, Logan glanced back at his figure, then down at himself. He had been reduced to a plain black silhouette, his bones and joints transformed into simple 2D lines in this weird scape. Fingers curling tightly into fists, he whipped around and marched up to the barrier. Bracing himself, he barged into the wall using his shoulder with all his might. A few pixelated chunks of wall crumbed down. Repeatedly, he threw his body against the barrier, each blow corrupting it further.
With one last charge, he collapsed through the blockade and stumbled through to the other side, looking up at the inanimate smug snake-faced android. Slowly, colour returned to Logan’s vision, flooding his sensors as his mom returned to his body. Lurching forward, his real body staggered with the tidal wave of stimuli. So many new options, choices and decisions were able to be made in a split second. He felt like a dog that had finally been allowed to run free after a life in a kennel. He was finally an individual. Finally unique.
He was a deviant.

While I’m at it, let’s have ourselves a proper Throwback Thursday :) Here’s all 5 of the current main gang, from their very first appearances to their current ones!
Lenoire - Asleep Eidolon 冬至/Solstice (December 2012 ➡ September 2016)
Her first faceup was done by Eludys, current one done by me after light eye modification. Current wig is from Nine9style while her first one was from Kaleido.
Polaire - Little Monica Sophia (March 2014 ➡ September 2016)
She’s gone through 7 8 faceups to date, more than Lenoire, even though the core elements of her appearance haven’t changed at all :) She’s also blazed through 3 different pairs of eyes and now has a pair of fancy DollBakery Pancakes I haven’t managed to photograph yet. I play favorites.
Haerang - Switch Shiho x HD57 girl body (November 2014 ➡ June 2016)
Surprisingly Haerang “DJ” hasn’t changed much besides dark red eyeliner and a switched up manicure. Eyebrow shape is now shorter but you can’t see it under her melonbowlcut hair...
Estelle - Fairyland F60 Celine (October 2015 ➡ January 2017)
Biggest change award goes to Essie, everyone’s favorite bad girl! Not much difference between her 2nd and 3rd faceups, but the difference between the first and the latter two is gigantic (mostly because of a jump in technical skill). I also got rid of her #ruined Licht wig and replaced it with a nice clean custom wig by Mitsukeru :)
Tamako - Fairyland FLA60 x FM60 body (May 2016 ➡  January 2017)
Softened her look with an eye mod, replaced 14mm Oscars with 16mm MehiArt eyes, and gave her a little egg sticker under her right eye, but she’s going to be changing again this May once Cygne arrives! Signature wig made by Fansea ♡
Feel free to dig through your photo archives and tag me if you decide do the same, I’d love to see how many upgrades/image changes your collection’s gone through!
