Hey superstars! Ready for my first sb au? Cause here we go! (Part 1 to more?)

I haven’t thought of a proper name yet, again I know I’m not the only one coming up with this idea but it’s my take on it. Basically it’s an alternate universe where instead of deconstructing the other three animatronics and killing Vanessa both Gregory and Freddy investigate what’s causing them and all the other bots to act aggressively to begin with; unraveling the mystery behind Vanny and secrets of the plaza. Along the way they learn more about Chicka, Roxy, Monty and Vanessa while trying to free them of the mind control-similar to playing the princess game that frees Vanessa of glitchtraps control Gregory has to play other arcade games to free the other animatronics one by one while still being hunted down because Afton wasn’t going to make it easy. Upon freeing Vanessa from glitch traps influence she joins the party to help them but gets hunted as well (since she is no longer under his control she is now a threat to his plans) and in a shocking turn of events the three encounter Vanny-a robot clone of Vanessa that Afton planned on switching her consciousness into so he could continue to use her to do his bidding forever (robots don’t age afterall, and I imagine the only way glitchtrap can continue to exist is through being latched onto a fully functioning soul like a parasite.) The three have a show down with Vanny and find a way to defeat her, and with all their hard work they find the old fnaf building beneath the plaza and together they fight springtrap and like what happens in that ending he gets taken by molten Freddy-and the gang (including Chicka, Roxy and Monty) seals it all away just to be sure that it’ll be springtraps final resting place.

All the animatronics in the plaza are freed from his control and Vanessa helps to destroy any remaining traces of the virus to ensure they won’t ever be controlled like that again and to make amends for the problems she caused. The plaza opens back up once more with everyone in one piece, Vanessa doesn’t lose her job and decides to stay as a security guard (wanting to make sure such a horrible thing never happens again and having regrets), the gang is back together and everything becomes light hearted with each of them being properly introduced to Gregory since they’re no longer trying to kill him and are back to their old selves. Freddy watches them interact with pride and joy-but also a feeling he can’t quite place. When everyone settles down he gets on one knee to be at eye level with Gregory and asks him what he plans to do-what he wants to do now that he is free to leave the plaza. Vanessa brings up how there is no records of him-how there weren’t any known records of him being missing or from any orphanages. And Gregory goes quiet and stares at the floor admitting that he doesn’t have anywhere to go, he doesn’t have any family..not anymore. Freddy of course comforts him and can’t help but feel so strongly over this fact- Vanessa would offer to take Gregory in and watch over him but would be surprised as everyone else as Gregory looks up, turning to Freddy says that he wants to stay and be with him. There is no one else he wants to be with. Critical hit to Freddy’s feelings and he gently pulls the boy into his arms and refuses to let him go..overjoyed that he feels the same way. It would lead into some complicated stuff with Vanessa pointing out that legally an animatronic bear can’t adopt a child and become his guardian. But also they are sentient and even she can admit that they’re practically alive and conscious as any person. (Based on a theory I had on a different post) Freddy would ask if he could prove his capabilities to think and behave as such would it be possible to convince a court to grant him the guardianship. And she would find herself stumped since that’s kind of a hard but good question.

Which leads to a whole new adventure involving facing the Fazbear Company about the research and experimentation (refer to past theory post) and some legal stuff; putting them in a spot that if they don’t listen to their requests and help Freddy that they will expose them on their shit and that would mean forcing them to reveal their discoveries to the world which would not only incriminate them but most likely destroy their image beyond repair-that no amount of rebranding would fix. Without getting into too much basically the company would have no choice but to comply and reveal in court (and the world) that they are in fact living beings despite being mechanical. Of course, they would have to implicate a lot of legal precautions to protect themselves and their secrets. But ultimately Freddy (and the gang) would make a legal contract with the company to work as actual employees; that they would be treated respectfully and given complete freedom of their consciousness (with updated safety protocols still in tact). They would get free repairs and safe from ever being scrapped-since that would be considered actual murder and people would flock to boycott the company if they ever tried to pull that shit again. A lot of things would change for all of them but for the better.

And Freddy is allowed to adopt Gregory (which makes him officially a Fazbear) with Vanessa being a co-guardian. Just as a counter measure but it would actually work out pretty well with Vanessa being like a mother figure to Gregory. The company would also have no choice but to also pay for housing (that would be built close to the plaza building) because Gregory would need a proper home to live in and the three of them (Vanessa, Freddy and Gregory) would stay there together. The other animatronics wouldn’t have much need to live outside the plaza so they wouldn’t mind continuing to live there but they’d have a whole lot more freedom and privileges than before. People would be entranced and amazed by the new knowledge and development and it’d actually make the business boom. Customers would flock from everywhere just to see the gang and it would benefit everyone. At this point you’re probably thinking okay,so a happy ending for everyone right? It would be all about their shenanigans from there on after? Yes, yes but also the adventure wouldn’t stop there.

Things would be pretty happy but lurking within the shadows would be a new villain, hiding right beneath their noses. Buahahahahaha!

Update edit: After some thought put into it (and my brain had a struggle deciding up til now) I’ve decided to go with Shooting Stars AU-because the show is able to go on, they’re each shooting stars aspiring to greater things and its cute. Also, there will be a part two (confirmed, so stay tuned for that!)

Here’s the last coaster in my FNAF Security Breach set!

This is my version of a Glamrock Foxy! I spent like 20 minutes browsing tumblr to get some ideas for this Foxy and I was very inspired by the colours @wizardstove used in their foxy design (please go check them out, their art is so good!). I did add some light teal just to have another bit of colour other than just purple and yellow. I was also inspired by Jack Sparrow, which is where his bandanna and the little dangling piece comes from. I made the bandanna the same shade as his eyes just to compliment his darker “fur” colour a bit more.

I was also using Roxy as a bit of reference since Roxy is supposed to take Foxy’s place. So this Foxy shares the lighter hair colour with the one bright coloured highlight.

I used the single star design as both a matching element with Chicka (since Freddy and Bonnie match), as well as a call back to how the og Foxy had an eye patch.

Though something I didn’t mention in that post is that I feel like Foxy would be really good with kids, especially ones with disabilities. I like to think that Foxy has a number of different limbs - like hooks and peg legs and maybe even different coloured eyes - that he can switch through if he wants (so his hands and legs and such are detachable). I feel like he usually has like a (dulled) hook hand that he usually uses and maybe a peg leg that he’ll wear to help kids with more noticeable physical disabilities feel more comfortable when in the Cove. I also feel like, while he can be quite animated during story times, Glamrock Foxy is quite calm most of the time which helps with kids who don’t react well to the more high energy animatronics. This was also something I kind of came up with when I noticed that I made Foxy’s eyes look softer/smaller than the other coasters, but I think Foxy was given softer looking features (smaller eyes, not as many sharp teeth, etc) to appear more welcoming to the kidddos.

Some more security breach thoughts since I am feeling inspired and after watching some videos on YouTube bringing up more unique and interesting secrets as well as some thoughtful analyses I guess I wanted to share my own ideas I have that influence my own head canons and aus I have in mind. With all that said it’s been a while since I have been deep into the fnaf rabbit hole; I haven’t read the books nor have I watched playthroughs of the most recent games besides security breach (I have of most of the games though and listened to many different theories.) so my knowledge isn’t perfect and this is purely my imagination and interpretation based on how I perceive the events that happened in sb.

A lot of fans theorize that the glamrocks are possessed by spirits of dead children much like the beginning games of the franchise. And as possible as that is I’m swayed to believe otherwise or at least with some modifications...I know it sounds strange and veers off the typical fnaf road it has gone with in the past but what if it’s gone beyond that? What if the animatronics aren’t possessed but have actually gained real sentience? The technology that is shown in Security breach goes an entirely futuristic step forward than in the past games-the animatronics are obviously more advanced than they should be and have shown that they not only look life like but have personalities and behave like they are three dimensional characters. They aren’t mindless machines anymore, they show that they understand and acknowledge the things around them. They are self aware. They can act on their own despite their programming. They can clearly reason and think logically. They can feel emotions and understand what these feelings are. They have desires and wants like how Chicka eats trash and food when it’s obvious she shouldn’t. How Roxy pep talks herself into feeling pumped up when she’s riddled with self doubts. Monty actively trashes his room and destroys things out of pent up frustration and anger. And Freddy (our sweetest papa bear) cares about Gregory and wants to protect and keep him safe-shows that he is sad when Gregory (the player) decides to leave the plaza and admits that he will miss him. Freddy has also shown concern and worry (he has caused himself damage out of fear for this danger prone child) when he realized that his superstar (a sign that he is clearly fond of Gregory) was hurt.

I truly think that this is a new age of technology and innovation created by the Fazbear Company (not just Scott wanting to spice things up and take a different approach to the franchise) after the many failures and unfortunate incidents that had all but destroyed its image. The company as a whole has struggled through the years to keep it’s head above water and after years of laying low and covering up as much dirt as they could they decided to rebrand and start completely fresh. That meant the standards to not only bring in a new wave of customers has risen higher than ever but also to meet their needs to keep them coming back for more and prevent the same horrible accidents from happening again. Hence the amount of precautions; the security bots, the safe mode in the animatronics (despite that being breached) and upgraded security sensors and the fact that the security offices still have functioning locking doors etc. I know that’s a lot already but stay with me on this, they wanted to create an experience unlike any of the ones from all the past locations...and something that no other competitor could replicate.

Which leads me to where my imagination came into play: as a kid going to a restaurant to play games, eat cheesy pizza and win prizes the most enchanting part is getting to see your favorite characters preform before your eyes. To a kid seeing their favorite characters be brought to life is a mind blowing experience but what if it went beyond that? What if these favorite characters were as real as if they’d jumped out of your tv screen? That you could interact with them and get a response..that they would talk to you like they had a mind of their own-that they were in fact alive just like you? And in a similar fashion of Bendy and the Ink machine the glamrocks were fabricated into the real world. My head canon is that the company knew more than we were lead to believe and that they didn’t just cover up all the murders and whatnot-that they somehow discovered William and Henry’s research/experiments and took things to a whole new level; that they somehow recreated a perfect synthetic remnant (although it’s possible that tiny fragments of the souls or what little remained stayed glued to the animatronic parts that I don’t doubt were salvaged and reused as brought up in past games could have been the cause) and managed to figure out how to infuse it into the glamrocks and perfect the process which then resulted in them gaining their own sentience and overtime becoming who they are in game. All while Fazbear ind. would have control (or so they thought) over them since their bodies and processors are made of mechanical/programmable parts.

Although based off the secret ending I believe the only exception may be Freddy himself. That he might be the only animatronic out of the group to actually have a higher connection to a soul or in other words be possessed in some way or have an actual remnant of a dead child that #1 is either one from the past that couldn’t entirely let go, #2 one of the most recent missing children (cause we damn well know Vanny be snatching up and killing kids) or to fly off the rails entirely that he be Michael Afton brought back once more by the return of his father causing havoc in order to stop him once again and in a way through protecting Gregory and taking care of him make amends (or free himself of the guilt he felt) to how he treated his own brother and start life over and be the best papa bear and continue to stay with his superstar after the final battle (which, is what my personal preference is going with right now). To possibly support this is what he said in the secret ending with afton, the initial malfunction in the beginning of the game could have been him being triggered by glitch traps presence and how he reacted to Vanessa scolding him-the interaction had made me perceive it as a parent scolding a child (in a very toxic, what I’d expect afton to act sort of way).

Anyways that’s pretty much my thoughts on that and also tie into the aus I have in mind for Security Breach. Which I may or may not share-though if someone would like to hear more let me know. I’m happy to gab about different ideas or theories you may have in return. Thanks for reading!

After the plaza closes down for the day Gregory and Freddy decide to show off the neat new Fazbear jacket (referred in a different post) but in an unorthodox way.

Freddy spotted Chicka jamming out in her room through her glass window watching for a moment as her head banged to the beat of her song. He walked up to the glass, gently knocking on it and motioning to her with a wave when she happened to glance up. He made a motion to her door and setting aside her instrument she gave him a thumbs up and walked over to it. Circling around to the door Freddy grinned as it slid open and Chicka cheerfully greeted him-stepping aside to let him in. “Hi Freddy! Making one last round?” She got a nod in response and watched the bear walk further in to stand in the middle of her room. She glanced back at the empty spot by the door and tilted her head at her friend. “Is Gregory with you? It’s almost dinner time.” Normally by now Freddy would have headed towards one of the diners with his boy to have some pizza or try some of the other menu items and excitedly exchange how their day had been; it had become a bit of a ritual for the rest of the gang to show up around then and hang out with them so it was a little surprising to see Freddy stopping by at this time. “About that...there’s something he wanted to show you-Are you ready superstar?” He gently tapped at his stomach hatch and got one back in response. “I’m ready!” And in an instant Gregory leapt out with the hood of his new fuzzy coat pulled over his head. “Tadaaaa! Do you like it?” The boy spun around in a circle and struck a pose-watching as Chicka’s eyes lit up. “Oh jelly bean-you’re absolutely ADORABLE! Let me have a closer look!” She scooped him up and rested him on her hip, holding him with one arm as she examined the fabric with her free hand. “It’s stitching is sturdy and the fabric is soo soft! You’re the cutest baby bear I’ve ever seen ♥️!” Gregory could see the proud expression on his papa bears face from the corner of his vision and felt his own face flush, shyly hiding it in Chicka’s shoulder. “Thank you! It’s really comfortable but I like it most of all because it looks like papa bear.” Chicka felt as though she were about to melt into a puddle...she glanced over at her best friend and giggled-seeing that he practically was himself. “How about we get some grub in you huh? There’s this new Fazburger I’m sure you’ll love! And we can show off your new threads too-I can’t wait to see the look on Roxy’s face!” Gregory excitedly threw his hands up with a whooping sound and eagerly chattered back to her. As the two became locked into a heated conversation Chicka turned and motioned Freddy to follow her as she continued to carry Gregory and lead the way out of her room. Freddy wordlessly followed after just as eager to listen to their bouncy chatter, he stared fondly at his superstars face as it lit up and his eyes sparkled. For the briefest moment his vision had changed...the ghostly image of a different face had appeared; the same chestnut hair was scruffier, chocolate orbs a little darker with scattered freckles over tear streamed cheeks- “Hey papa-wouldn’t that be cool?!” Freddy quickly blinked a couple times and all at once he was met with the wide, curious eyes of his cub. “Oh, yes, that would be wonderful!” He replied and internally sighed with relief as Gregory beamed and continued gabbing to his aunt. He felt a strange sensation, a dull aching pull deep within his soul and held a clutching hand to his chest. The memory of the past still lingering deep within his new, ageless frame...

Christmas time at the plaza would be a blast-especially since everyone would help decorate and a big tree would be carried in to spruce (hehe) up the place.

Everyone would be working together to make it feel warm and homey. Children’s holiday pictures would be hung up (including one from Gregory) along the hallway walls, there would be an abundance of Christmas themed treats and toys to be sold from the gift shops and the glamrocks performing holiday rock songs would bring merriment and cheers. Together the gang would hang up tinsel and bows and wreaths and the tree would be wrapped in tinsel and flashing lights-shiny ornaments adorning the trees musky branches. When they would get to the Christmas star everyone would agree that Gregory be the one to place it on top and with Freddy’s help would add the final touch. Roxy would flip on the lights and the group would stare in awe as the tree lit up, a burst of sparkling colors dancing around the main entrance.

And when it’d snow Vanessa would join Gregory outside and sled together. By then Freddy and the glamrocks would be upgraded to be waterproof and have built in thermal systems to keep their internals from freezing over so they would be able to join the fun. Chicka would try to eat snowflakes and be scolded by Roxy while Monty (you’ll understand with my 3rd update ;) ) and Bonnie build snowmen. Freddy would wait beneath the hill for Vanessa and Gregory as they slide down and make sure they reach the bottom safely. At some point they’d have a snowball fight. Freddy, Gregory and Bonnie would make up one team and Vanessa, Chicka and Roxy would make the other while Monty would be his own team lol (he’s a powerhouse all by himself XD he’d like the challenge) and by the end of it everyone would be laughing and having such a great time. Chicka would bring Vanessa and Gregory some hot chocolate to warm up and take a break and they would enjoy the scenery together. Bonnie would come up with the idea to make an igloo and the boys would get to work building it with Roxy overseeing the whole thing.

Once completed Gregory and Vanessa would check it out and have a lil snack break inside, Freddy popping in every so often (well rather his head, they’d made it big enough for those two to get in XD) and the others keeping guard and fooling around. Bonnie would find himself wandering about (unable to stay still) and admire the frost covered trees and the tiny birds perching on the snow kissed branches. Freddy would join him to talk and keep each other company with Roxy and Chicka laughing as Monty gets pummeled with snow in the background. Watching the feathered creatures puff up and shake would cause Bonnie laugh and make a joke about Chicka, in turn getting a chuckle out of Freddy as they unconsciously lean into each other, shoulders touching lightly. They’d listen to the string of chirps and calls and Freddy would sigh, the puff of hot air escaping from his mouth reminiscent of memories long ago. Bonnie’s expression would soften and he’d playfully nudge him out of his thoughts with a warm smile-suggesting they head back but not without gently brushing his hand as he’d take the lead. Gregory would crawl out of the igloo and spot the two walking over and run over to them with his arms outstretched and leap into his papa bears arms for a warm hug.

I have some au ideas for security breach that I’m debating on sharing or not depending if I can gather my thoughts enough to put it all into words but I figure I’ll share another thought inspired by a post that made me laugh, which I probably should have reblogged...whoops. If you’re out there poster this is for you.

If the other animatronics weren’t so preoccupied being mind controlled enough to interact with Freddy (unlike in the game where they spoke to themselves or to Gregory specifically) but were still on the search for Gregory perhaps after awhile they’d get a little suspicious with Freddy wandering and sneaking around. The group decide to corner him and the interaction goes something like this;

Monty: There is our favorite bear-where have you been pal?

Freddy: (brushes his chest off and spins around to face them) I have..been around..the plaza.

Roxy: (staring at her reflection in one of the display walls) You have been sneaking about for hours.

Chicka: Freddy..you know you can tell us anything, right?

Freddy: (laughs albeit nervous) Everything is fine I promise. I was just (pauses and glances over at a random picture hung on the wall) looking for a drawing I had dropped somewhere.

Chicka: Do you need any help? I’m sure we can find it if we work together!

Monty: Yeah! Then you can join our search-

Roxy: Not that we’ll be needing it, I almost had him.

Freddy: Who? (Slowly beginning to sweat)

Roxy: The brat wandering around the plaza. (Flips her hair from her face) Didn’t Vanessa tell you? We’re supposed to catch him.

-There’s a pause as Freddy glances around at each of his friends and rubs the back of his neck, opening his mouth to speak when suddenly there’s a thumping sound from within his chest compartment-

Monty: What was that?

Freddy: What was what?

Roxy: That sound Freddy, what are you hiding-

Chicka: Oh! Is it your secret stash of snacks?! (Everyone looks at her) What? I do it all the time!

Freddy: I..uh should get going.. (Moves to leave but is blocked by Monty)

Monty: C’mon bud! You don’t have to be embarrassed, maybe you got something stuck in there-lemme just take a look (tries to reach out but Freddy leans away from his touch) and see if we can get it out huh?

Freddy: You..uh..can’t do that-because...(sweat dropping intensifies)

Chicka: (having a worried expression while Roxy places a hand on her shoulder) Because..?

Freddy: (Backing away slowly and looking for an opening as Monty tries to close the gap between them) I..I um.. (his mind frantically tries to come up with something but can’t handle lying or fibbing to his friends so he goes with the first thing his panicked mind can come up with) I’m pregnant! (Ducks out of Monty’s grasp just as he was about to be nabbed and flees)

All three: FREDDY!

Chicka: THAT’S NOT EVEN POSSIBLE!

Roxy: COME BACK HERE I KNOW YOU’RE HIDING SOMETHING! (Tries to chase after him)

Monty: (Can’t even speak, confusion is super effective)

An additional note - Monty would be ecstatic to be an uncle LOL 😆

To add to the hilarity Freddy would never have felt so afraid in all his life-what with Roxy being able to freaking see through the walls. Insert silly music and a comical chase scene of Freddy fleeing like demons covered in flames in a hell basket was barreling after him all the while Monty contemplates his own existence and Chicka worriedly munches on snacks. And Roxy yelling that she can see him running. Like why you running?!

Alright superstars (Didja miss me?), Chapter 3 of the Shooting Stars Au is here! And it’s going to be a bit of a read so get nice and cozy. This chapter is special and in collaboration with @luriuan who inspired me and bounced ideas off with me, I hope this does some justice (from memory bc stupid tumblr likes to eat messages.) and let’s continue to brainstorm ideas together!

After Monty’s mayhem and he had spent weeks in solitary confinement; he wasn’t allowed to perform and at the time the company was deciding what to do with him. After much consideration and Bonnie being allowed to decide what they do with him the bunny had insisted Monty speak with a professional and deal with his emotional problems and not be decommissioned permanently-despite what he did and the pain he inflicted especially on Bonnie, the rabbit would surprise everyone by openly addressing his feelings on the matter; that he understood what the crocodile was going through, how they weren’t always so popular and how hard it was to get the flow of customers going at first because of the past bad publicity-it wasn’t easy to get where they are now. And just like past locations it was only Freddy and himself from the start before the rest of the glamrocks were created, before the public became interested in the pizzaplex and business was booming again. He understood what it felt like to have no one care or feel like what you did was amazing. Bonnie and Freddy had to practice every day, they worked their tails off (my Bonnie n Freddy have tails) to build themselves back up and regain the good reputation they used to have. Monty made a horrible mistake because he always felt he’d never have his chance, that no one would listen or care. Bonnie would forgive him but he also wouldn’t forget what he had done and threaten that if he doesn’t change his attitude and if he ever tries anything again to harm Freddy or Gregory he would decommission the crocodile permanently with his own hands. It would take a lot of rehabilitation and time before Monty would come to terms with what he felt and for the others to forgive him and give him a second chance but once they do things change a whole lot. Bonnie gets his spot as the bass player and at first Monty becomes disheartened believing he was back to square one just being a golfing attendant but Gregory would come up with the idea that he becomes a drummer instead-and strangely enough, he becomes more popular! The kids end up liking the way he plays and after Gregory showing other kids how cool he really was, they weren’t afraid of him anymore and things had gotten much better at the plaza.

(With that said it’s time to set the stage that @luriuan and I have set for our next adventure!)

Alright, so y’all are prob like Tranquil (that’s me), what could possibly go wrong now? And all I have to say my sweet superstars is a whole damn lot.

Let me start by laying the foundation for the show that’s about to start; throughout the years the Fazbear Company has had a long ugly track record of mistreating their employees as well as their animatronics. In the pizzaplex it’s no different, they strive to cover up and prevent any unfortunate mishaps (through legal binding contracts, the amount of security bots and safety rooms /security offices/ etc.) they constantly overwork their employees, throw them into stressful environment/situations, are at their throats 24/7, weigh them down with high expectations, have them working long exhausting shifts and all while under paying them for their hard work. So on top of their normal duties they end up also doing multiple jobs at once while having so much responsibilities thrown at them. Which is the reason why there are currently less human workers and more machines replacing them (to find out that all the customer service, security, directory (map), maintenance/wet floor sign and chef bots are also sentient like the glamrocks but are of lesser intelligence/level of sentience than they are) most of the original human employees quit because they couldn’t handle the pressure of the company’s standards and the backlash of entitled customers (mainly adults). The ones that remained became bitter (Vanessa included, though it got better after she was no longer controlled by glitchtrap) and in turn used the lesser sentient bots (the ones I listed) as punching bags-not just verbally (like with Freddy and the glamrocks) but physically. Treating them like they were pebbles they could kick around (mind you the customers that are jerks also treat the robots this way) Basically it’s why there’s only one security guard on all night, as well as in the day time. Most of the workers that remain are mechanics and technicians and customer support employees. Anyways to sum it up the workers are treated crappy and the bots are then bullied in response to their frustrations because as grown ass adults they can’t just act mature about their issues and quit like any decent, sane person would. Also, at the time when Glitchtrap was still alive he had tried to manipulate and control the employees minds but only succeeded in making them act more violent and be irritable. He couldn’t take full control over them like Vanessa. That in turn only fueled them to act out even more on the service robots even more. Which, after Gregory had been adopted by Freddy he would sympathize with the other robots after realizing they are somewhat sentient (it’d make him think about how he’d feel if those jerks treated Freddy like that so) and throw hands with anyone that threatened or treated the bots like crap-except the map bots. He’d still hold a grudge XD.

But why is that all important? Well, it’s all because of a guy named Dave (not William Afton under an alias. A completely different person) who was an intern for the Fazbear Company as a budding technician. You see, a jerk customer decided to file a formal complaint about him..saying how he sucked and should be fired. So they did, they fired him after all the long tiring hours he busted his ass to go above and beyond to be a model employee; to gain the experience he needed to slap onto a resume and move up in life to a better paying, more accommodating job. He was stuck being a technician and a customer service rep at the same time (to try and cut hours the company made workers do multiple jobs around the plaza. They ended up creating the bots to replace them in favor of workers that are forced to do their jobs, can be programmed/fixed and don’t need to be paid or able to quit or leave) he had to deal with rude entitled people on top of doing his job and he had grown rather fed up, not to mention he was under the influence of Vanny (the robot clone being controlled by glitchtrap) under the guise of Vanessa sending him messages back and forth about how much they both hated their job, how they both hated kids and how unfair the company treated them. His mind had begun to warp into madness to the point he’d become blinded by his hatred of the place and being fired was the last straw besides the poor treatment...he decided he was going to do something about it and what he had in mind was nothing short but horrible. He’d been watching from the shadows, he saw the news articles about the company addressing the public about the animatronics being alive/sentient and how they were now full fledged employees rather than being ‘slaves’ as the protesters that threatened the company to give them proper treatment accused them of being. He watched on television as Freddy Fazbear held a young child in his arms-a small boy with fluffy chestnut hair and hazel eyes and a smile that could light up the world-speak to a reporter about becoming an actual citizen and officially adopting the child. His vision turning red at the sight of their happiness. Why are they allowed to have a happy ending?! How can they just sweep over the neglect and abuse the company had dished out to its employees-the ones that are actual, REAL humans?! What rights do these hunks of metal and mechanical parts have to be treated fairly when they are meant to be children’s playthings?! And that disgusting, sickingly sweet looking abomination (Gregory) isn’t even an employee-just shown up out of the blue and hasn’t done a damn thing for the company! (which is not true considering he actually saved the entire plaza and its inhabitants. And he would actually begin working for the company, being a model for their clothes and merchandise and being a big help with the gang and popular among the children that visit there) Why does this pathetic twerp get to stand in the spotlight-why does he get to be treated with respect and kindness?! All these spiteful thoughts would overcome his mind as he’d smash his televisions screen upon the boys smiling face-the image shattering like his sanity.

But then, a small voice in his head would whisper...sweet nothingness into his headspace-remembering the messages Vanessa had sent him so long ago...and then he’d have ideas of his own. They don’t deserve happiness...yes...they wouldn’t listen-they wouldn’t care...I’ll make them listen. I’ll make them care-and I’ll wipe that stupid smile off that brats face-off all their faces! I’ll give them a show THEY’LL NEVER FORGET! Dave maniacally laughing to himself in the middle of his living room. He’d spent weeks preparing himself there after-waiting for the perfect opportunity to extract his revenge. He’d gathered all the necessary tools, had mulled over his plans over and over until everything was PERFECT. And under the shield of night he had broken in through one of the emergency exits and snuck into the plaza; unbeknownst to the animatronics the plaza was built with secret hallways that were created as shortcuts throughout the entire pizzaplex; only known to security officers with a high enough clearance and technical/electrician staff. He was able to hack the door to one of the secret hallways ( that is integrated into various spots in the walls of the plaza-practically invisible to the naked eye) and give himself clearance-then he took refuge in a small crawl through a narrow tunnel to a room (it’d be a small room where back up generators used to power up various sections of the plaza are situated) and make it his base of operations. He’d hack into the mainframe of the entire plaza and that’s when the fun would begin. His goal? To obliterate everything and everyone. The Fazbear Company took everything away from him-now it was their turn to experience what that feels like.

Dave’s plans would start similar to how Monty’s when the croc had tried to take out Freddy; subtle and coincidental. But this time, the main target wouldn’t be Freddy or the other animatronics-oh no my dear superstars, the victim here would be Gregory once again. The man hates kids with a passion (he only got the job because he wanted the experience so he could work somewhere better) and to see this kid getting acknowledged and basically being pampered head to foot would piss him off so much that he’d be pushed further into madness and hate the living shit out of Gregory’s existence. His ultimate plan is to stain the Fazbear Company so bad that they can never recover and the franchise would never see the light of day again (the other separate restaurants and buildings in different locations would also be forced to shut down permanently) and with the public eye more invested in the company’s treatment of the animatronics and their plans moving forward the industry as a whole would be walking on a tight rope. What better way to destroy them than to cause an unfortunate incident to the rising poster child of the pizzaplex? If Gregory were to, I dunno die...and it be the company’s fault-gasp-that would ruin their image forever not to mention it’d cause the animatronics (Freddy most of all) incurable suffering and heart break that they wouldn’t want to continue working-not that it’d matter since the hacker would also plan to burn the building to the ground. (This whole franchise really loves arson like gosh damn lol) Dave would start by hacking into all the robots in the plaza (service, security,restaurant,maintenance and endos) much like Vanny and have them under his control-not just in the ‘acting aggressively to anything that moves’ way but in a mind control, all collectively following instructions and doing whatever he tells them to. He’d try to control the glamrocks but after the whole Vanny mind control shit the company had gotten wiser with the main animatronics and created stronger security protocols/virus shields so Dave would have no power over them. (The reason they didn’t with the other robots was because they are of lesser value/sentience that can be easily replaced and scrapped. More reason for us to feel sorry for them right?)

Anyways Dave would have the various robots attempt at harming Gregory for a couple weeks; such as tripping him up by the escalators to make him fall. Charging at him when the glamrocks aren’t around and pushing, grabbing and gripping (which would leave him covered in bruised and scrapes from the amount of falling and smacking into things because of them all of which he’d try to cover up so it doesn’t worry papa bear), it’d get to the point that one of the chef bots spazzed out and chased Gregory with a knife and made swipes at him. Which ultimately confused and frustrated Gregory to where he’d told Chicka about it because he didn’t want to worry his papa at first and thought he was just being crazy seeing things-afterall Vanny wasn’t controlling them anymore. It didn’t make any sense...but it would get worse and Chicka would tell Freddy and the security guards as well as the company would be informed and the pizzaplex would be shut down for the time being to stop any further violence from being directed at any of the customers (which Dave had planned on doing) while their remaining technicians try to solve the problem. (In order to deal with the lack of money coming in the company would focus on their delivery service, with each of the bots taking turns being brought to outside events like birthday parties etc.) Though Freddy would become invested in finding out the truth because his son was in danger and the group wouldn’t want another Vanny situation all over again. Gregory would refuse to stay home and do nothing because he’d worry that whoever was behind this would hurt his family and knowing he was just going to meddle anyways Vanessa offered to stick by him and keep him safe while Freddy and the gang searched the entire plaza for any clues as to what was happening. So to start off the adventure Gregory and Vanessa spend a lot of time together (while she works because if she’s gonna be in the plaza might as well be out to work lol that was more so the company’s idea XD) and playing detective with Gregory being Holmes (don’t think I need to explain why) and Vanessa as Watson as the two search through security footage from the various security offices and try to access the central controls to look for any signs of viruses or bugs in the robots systems. It takes a bit of digging and they nearly discover something when suddenly they are blocked from accessing the central network-being blocked from seeing the camera footage and getting a warning screen saying they do not have clearance/authority. This starts to unsettle the two as they realize something is definitely up and Gregory calls Freddy from his search around the plaza (the other glams would be searching their areas specifically) but is interrupted by the sound of cackling echoing throughout the halls of the entire pizzaplex through the various speakers scattered about the building.

Dave makes his debut over the intercom as he makes his presence known, having enough merely watching them running around like chickens without their heads. He’d explain the plans he has for them (being pissed that the plaza closed down before he could really cause harm and damage but no matter) that they’re all his little puppets and he’s pulling the strings-and they have quite a show to put on. Vanessa would recognize the voice and realize who it was-calling out to Dave in shock and asking why he would do this. It would confuse the man because under the guise of Vanny pretending to be Vanessa he’d thought she’d already know-thought that she could see what he was doing and be all for it-that she understood! But Vanessa would call it crazy and tell him to stop and that would infuriate our antagonist and make him lose a few marbles. He’d feel like the only person who understood him, who encouraged him and made him feel like he was useful had flipped him onto his head and he would feel utterly betrayed. Angrily he’d turn on her too for ‘siding with them’ and accusing her of having gone ‘soft’ and is ‘being fooled by their fake kindness’ but he’d make her see-he’d make them all see how horrible they really are and how they’ve wronged him! How everyone in this hell has wronged him. Cackling evilly Dave would command the worker bots to attack and actively hunt them down. Vanessa and Gregory would be racing against the time to stay alive and evade the killer robots as Dave would have the plaza go into lockdown mode; meaning the locking systems of the entrance and all the exits would be hacked into and locked tight, not even opening with the vip or security badge passes.

On top of all that he would also activate the newly built emergency shield doors-(the kind you see in those spy/fbi movies when the alarm system is triggered, looks similar to what garages have and mall shops use. After the Vanny incident the company decided to install more safety measures) made out of extremely thick metal that were placed in various hall ways around/leading to the animatronics specific sections; Monty’s golf course, Roxy’s raceway, Chicka’s fitness area, Bonnie’s Bowling alley and Freddy’s Fazerblast arena-trapping said animatronics at their designated areas. Leaving Vanessa and Gregory on their own while the glamrocks were faced with their own problems of being trapped and also being attacked by the service robots there with them. Even the daycare and Music Man’s areas were also closed/locked off meaning neither MM or Sun/Moondrop (we’ll call them that in this au) could wander about and help (there would be security bots stationed outside and around the areas making it difficult for Gregory and Vanessa to traverse there.

For several hours Gregory and Vanessa would run in and out of peril as they desperately try to locate where the hackers location was-having to get creative because the limited access with the shield doors in place. They’d have to back track, circle around and try to unlock doors but with difficulty since Dave has access to all the cameras and can hack the doors. They’d even search the lower levels like parts and service and the sewer-almost getting burned alive in the boiler room. They’d even almost get crushed in a trash compactor. With all the running around they’d need to take a break, feeling at their wits end until an unexpected helper appears...

- It’s about that time where I introduce another hero to the story: a little wet floor sign that was different than all the others. During the weeks before Gregory had bumped into it while it was sitting in one of the halls by a set of bathrooms and he had accidentally knocked it over and the poor thing was beeping frantically Gregory felt bad and helped it up and it did this adorable little dance and before he knew it the bot was following him around everywhere it could reach and he gradually grew fond of it. He got into the habit of patting it on the head and talking to it, eventually even naming it Honey Bee (because of its coloring /even though all of them are that color/ it was sweet and it beeped so fast it sounded like buzzing) and the two often played together whenever Gregory was at the plaza while his papa bear had to work. He found out that the other animatronics could actually understand her-(he decided it was a girl and Honey bee seemed to agree when he’d stated it /she danced/) despite that fact that all he heard was beeping. (More reasons to feel empathetic towards the other robots check) Okay end of headcanon rant-

Honey Bee would find them resting and Gregory would tell her it wasn’t safe to be out with all the killer robots around, the lil bot beeping in protest and spinning in a circle. She’d give him a nudge to follow her and both he and Vanessa would find themselves by an open vent-a mini music man popping its head out for them to see. They’d realize after some heated beeping from Honey Bee that it was a means of help and an unlikely friendship would be made. Basically mini music man (there would be several but this particular one was the leader) would help Gregory traverse through the vents to get into locked off areas as they search for Dave’s location and Honey Bee would stick with Vanessa (since she couldn’t fit) and help her try to hack back into the central control system to override the locked doors and free Freddy and the glamrocks. She would alert Vanessa to any danger and they’d hide in the green rooms. All the while Gregory and mini man as we’ll call him watches the boys back and helps cause distractions on the cameras to keep Dave preoccupied. (The other minis would be searching for where Dave is holed up since they are smaller and can access hard to reach nooks n crannies) And from there it’s this game of cat and mouse with Vanessa and Honey bee, and whack a mole with Gregory n mini man popping in and out of vents and taunting Dave through the cameras XD Gregory would stick his tongue at the camera and be a lil shit getting the man riled up along the way.

Lots of filler with the four hard at work (and taunting shenanigans in an attempt to get Dave to come out of hiding) running around the plaza and new obstacles; Dave would hack into the wet floor sign bots as well and have them block doors and huddle up in hallways forcing Vanessa and Gregory to hurdle over them or go different ways altogether. (Honey Bee wouldn’t be effected for some reason) Then we reach a turning point where while Gregory was causing diversions (to keep the hacker from checking on Van n bee) he’d nearly gotten caught by one of the bots-it grabbed him and Dave was about to have it bring Gregory to him when mini man intervened and leapt onto the robots head and smacked its face (it’s a hilarious image ok) letting the boy go and the two of them jumping back into a vent. This pissed Dave off and he lost a few extra screws and he was tempted to just go out there and nab the kid himself because these stupid twits (his hacked minions) couldn’t do anything right. (Even tho they were causing trouble for the glamrocks but ok Dave w.e) but he reminded himself that he had one ace up his sleeve and regained his composure or what’s left of it. He’d lost focus on Vanessa entirely in favor of trying to end Gregory and this is where shit gets messed up. After searching for a chance to get back at the brat, Gregory had ran into one of the security offices-he was attempting to catch a breather to contact Freddy and only realized his mistake when it was too late (he had mini man wait in one of the vents outside) the door shut close and refused to open (he just had to choose the one with a single door on top of not learning from his past experiences) he was trapped and Dave spoke through the computer screen telling him it was fun and all (not) but this was where their game ends. (I did write a short about this one moment but I’ll have to repost it) At that very moment Vanessa overrided the safety protocol for the shield doors and freed Freddy and the glamrocks and Gregory desperately called his papa bear for help by using the emergency alert app on his fazwatch (a program Freddy had upgraded into the watch with a tracking beacon cause he’s over protective like that). Freddy of course raced to where he was and was frantically trying to open the door with force but then things got worse; Dave had gotten control of the ventilation systems and had one of the robots release a poisonous gas into the room-with a terrified Gregory trying not to breathe it in. Unfortunately it fills the entire room and it’s too strong for the boy to handle, making him fall unconscious. Dave had intended to have a start a fire in the room (it would literally cause an explosion) but one of the mms found his location, popped out of the vent and clashed their cymbals into Dave’s face. Causing him distress and to miss his chance.

It was at this moment Freddy lost his shit entirely and unknowingly awakened his unique ability (something I headcanon him to have because all the other bots got cool attributes so :p I do plan to make another post touching upon it more) but basically he used his own charge to boost his strength and ripped the door off. Believe me in my mind it’s cool af. He rushes in and rescues Gregory but some damage had already been done. The boy is weak and unable to move for the time being so in a panic Freddy carries him off to the daycare-running into Vanessa and Honey Bee along the way the three make it there in one piece and Freddy asks Sunny to keep Gregory along with the other two safe (there’s a lil bit to unload about him but to cut it short he gets forgiven for what he did when he was mind controlled and he builds up a friendship with Gregory, who apologized back and is not banned from the daycare) which he does, he takes his job seriously and because he works with really young kids he has medical knowledge and programming built into him so he tends to Gregory while Freddy grudgingly leaves to answer a distress call from Bonnie. He makes his way to his location all the while figuring out some cool things he can do-(he gains the ability to basically give ‘controlled shocks’ XD) short circuiting the onslaught of crazed robots as he reaches his rabbit and gets him out of a pickle. Together they fight their way to the other glamrocks; they reach Chicka and she helps stun the oncoming robots then Roxy who guides them to take safer paths and lastly Monty, using his brute strength to clear said paths for them to travel faster-they had planned on heading back to the daycare when suddenly Dave’s voice could be heard on the intercom; cackling like a maniac telling Freddy he has a surprise for him waiting on the stage. Playing a recording of Vanessa’s screams and Sunny’s shouts muffled by shrill vicious growls. Of course the group rush to reach the stage-with a frantic, fear stricken Freddy leading the charge but what they find standing on the stage shakes the bear to his core.

~Let’s backtrack a lil to what lead to that moment, what happened at the daycare after Freddy had left. When he left things were seemingly fine-Sunny and Vanessa had locked the entrance and exit doors and barricaded them like Freddy had ordered them to. The bear intended to return to check on Gregory and have the team plan their next attack and escape (Gregory still sucked in a harmful gas he’d need to go to an actual hospital) but with every exit locked and the group having no access to the central security controls that made it harder. At least that was the plan-except after so many failed attempts to destroy them (Gregory especially) Dave had completely lost whatever sane bone he had left in his body; all his mental screws came undone and his sanity marbles have been scattered to the farthest corners of his consciousness. At that point he’d become so spiteful and angry he couldn’t acknowledge what defeat even was anymore. And seeing that the kid escaped him once again, living to continue taunting him completely broke him. He decided that all his efforts weren’t enough, this time it was a personal jab at his genius and the boy had escaped one too many times. Smiling at the monitor screen he smiled a wicked grin, the image of Sunrise tending to Gregory while Vanessa and Honey Bee remain huddled close to him reflecting back on the man’s tinted glasses-he chuckled to himself as he pressed a big red button on the controller in his hand. Somewhere, red curtains pulled back by the tip of a steel hook-gleaming red dots flashing in the darkness within.~

Freddy’s entire world got turned upside down; he could hear the vague gasps and shocked shouts of the other glamrocks as they too stopped short before the stage-and stared at the man standing in the middle of it; tall and lean with disheveled reddish brown hair and crazed green eyes hiding behind the glint of large circular glasses with a thin frame. His green shirt was splattered with specks of blood and hanging from his left arm was Gregory’s limp body- The surroundings around the bear shifted and spun, whirling colors spinning so fast they blended into each other until he could no longer make out the shapes of what it had all been. Nothing mattered. The voices and presence of his family and friends had vanished from his senses and all he could see was red. The man grinned wide from ear to ear and spoke..his voice taunting. ‘This is my time to shine!’ He exclaimed. ‘You were never going to win’ His green eyes sparkled as he laughed maniacally, jostling the boy’s body in his clutches and not flinching when the bear snarled and leapt towards the stage. ‘Uh uh uh!’ Dave chided holding up his free hand and shaking his index finger at him. ‘I wouldn’t do that if I were you.’ Freddy had almost lost complete control if it weren’t for the fact that for a second he swore he could see his son breathing. He would lunge at the man but just as he flew through the air claws ready to slash at the man’s face a flash of red dropped down upon him and thrust him out of the way. There, stood a tattered withering Foxy...a battered skeleton of what he used to be. Glowing red eyes staring unblinking at him, jaws unhinged with his sharp teeth on display. Over his shoulder Freddy could see Dave waving enthusiastically fleeing up one of the escalators to the second floor-hearing the echoed ‘catch me if you can’ as he fled from sight.

Freddy would be having none of that shit though. Him and foxy would have this epic battle but it’d just be taking way to much time even though both of them were being merciless to each other ( thankfully Freddy didn’t get hurt since he had actived his superstar mode and was much faster on his feet) Bonnie and the other glamrocks stepped in to fight foxy so Freddy could persue Dave (all of them working together to trip foxy up, make him run into walls and obstacles they’d throw in his way etc anything to keep him busy) and the chase would lead Freddy onto the plaza roof. Dave standing by the edge holding Gregory over it; gloating and taunting Freddy about how he had won and how everyone would witness the ruin of the company once and for all. Freddy would angrily tell him to put his son down now or else (despite being on the verge of losing it completely he’d still have some sense in him) but Dave being a dick let’s go and Gregory falls from his grasp, disappearing out of view.

Freddy goes awol and attacks Dave who thought he didn’t have the guts to attack him (and vaguely thought he couldn’t because it wasn’t in his programming which errrrr wrong. They gained true sentience and Freddy already had the strongest will power out of all the glams so) surprise! He frantically tries to get away from a super charged pissed off bear and that goes as well as expected-Freddy nearly kills him (managed to swipe the guys glasses off his face and it shatters on the hard cement) when the other glamrocks appear and subdue him. (They successfully took foxy out-he’s knocked out and drained completely of power) Bonnie manages to bring Freddy back to his senses and he’s let go-the rabbit panicked asks him where Gregory is and to his shock Freddy (who is still charged up) runs towards the edge of the roof and fking swings off the rim and using his claws scales down the fking wall like a badass. The glamrocks yell and rush to stare down at him as he does (Monty holding Dave hostage) and to their surprise the huge Freddy pop up balloon the company had planned on blowing up and displaying outside laid deflated over the sidewalk outside the entrance and parking lot.

As Freddy reaches the ground he frantically calls out Gregory’s name and searches for him-his eyes falling on the backs of the injured, disheveled forms of Sunny standing with his head bowed and Vanessa on her knees hunched over crying. His eyes catch the sight of the familiar blue shirt and fluffy chestnut hair-he rushes over to them and the sight of the limp, curled up body of his cub shatters his heart. In an instant he dropped to his knees beside him and scoops the child into his arms-desperately calling his name and asking for him to answer, pleading with him to open his eyes as he clutches him close to his chest; the boy’s skin was pale, his clothes ripped and blood soaked through the large tear in his midsection. Freddy clutches the boys face in his shaking palm and begs with whatever entity that exists not to take him away to give his son back-that it can’t have him. His mind unraveling as his incoherent pleas fall onto deaf ears. Unable to accept the stillness of the fragile body in his arms, too afraid to shake him lest he crumble into dust. A cry escapes him and he bursts into a fit of screaming and sobs uncontrollably-glimmering tears rolling off the bears snout and dripping onto the boy’s soft matted hair.

From the rooftop Dave could barely see the sparkling droplets falling from the bears eyes and for a moment through the haze of his insanity could see the ghostly image of a man in place of where the bear knelt. Before he was violently shaken and dragged away from the sight by the now hissing crocodile.

“Gregory...don’t leave me..please..” Freddy choked, clutching the child closer still. Desperate to feel even the slightest flutter of a heartbeat-even a hint of warmth where there might still be some life left. “Please...” His shoulders shook as he hunched over the child’s smaller figure-unconsciously trying to shield him-to protect him...when he knew he no longer could. “I love you.” The following silence was pierced by his heart broken cries and he’d all but blocked out the world around them entirely. Feeling like his soul was tearing in two. But in a fraction of a second there was a sigh, and then a soft weak voice replied. “I know you do.”
