Drawing all of Geese’s variants in my style! (Part 1: AU Attack 1)

So for those who don’t know, Mason has an FNF mod he’s had it for probably about two years now and it’s really good! But anyway…

When it first came out with V1 they had a week called AU attack where you would basically just battle Mason‘s character, but in various FNF AUs. And when V2 came out, they added a second one where geese and his friend Chris would basically teleport to different AUs and visit more variations of himself.

I decided to do this one week at a time so here are the 5 that are in the first one, plus the OG! There’s actually six songs, but the final song celebration isn’t actually an AU song. It’s just a song with a few of his friends (originally it featured a few certain characters, but we can’t exactly talk about that guy anymore because he’s a pedo…)

B-Sides Geese is probably my favorite out of these I love the glow up he got!

Spreading my hellbeats corruption, more of you people need to know Hellbeats Corruption. Fnf mod. Canceled. Literally the best use of Skid and Pump in any fnf mod. The angst is real. The implications of every Spooky Month character being in it is real. Roy is literally there. Actually a lot of characters are there. Pointlessly on anon because anyone who’s ever been to my blog will know who I am. Unless you haven’t been paying attention. Hellbeats Corruption will be on the test. What am I even saying I’m tired. HBC propaganda. Angsty Spookeez propaganda.

Base-Game: A college student who got trapped in an odd FNF mod she downloaded. Takes the form of Boyfriend, which she's a lil unhappy about. Determined to escape the game alive, but also has a little fun with the game along the way.

B-Sides: Same as the original, but a little more confident, given her experience with the game. Likes to show off her cool pink hair and rad singing skills.

B3: The COOLER Bonnie, wears a pair of stylish shades to show how COOL she is. Also she's Korean, and can speak it and English fluently.

D-Sides: Popular blonde party girl, goes full gremlin mode as an edgy, sharp-toothed BF. Constantly bites her tongue and injures herself by accident. Eats drywall

Neo: Creeped out by the fact she's now a monster/creature in the shape of a human. Probably listens to lo-fi

Hellbeats: She's an angel now? Okay, then why does she have horns on her hat? Whatever, she still loves her demon bf.

Minus: Three girls, Becky (Beta), Megan (Mean) and Blaire (Blue) all fight to be with the same British heartthrob

Corruption: Same as base-game, except she got turned into a freaky monster by Neil. Now she wants to spread the corruption with her one true love~

Sour: Pretty much D-Sides, but less feral

Funkin' Aside: Similar to Base-game, she often engages in tomfoolery

If you do check it out I do wanna give some quick heads up for you though:

The mod is a fan mod combining Hellbeats (FNF but in Hell) with Corruption (FNF but zombie apocalypse) -- you don't really need to know the full lore of either I think, since the mod does its own spins on both, but I thought it would be good to say given the change in setting

As it is a Corruption fan mod, each song is shown off separately like "episodes"

The mod was cancelled, so it's just the first two weeks + a bonus song and the first song of Week 3. Still a really good story!! It just ends on a cliffhanger.

I do still highly recommend it! My friend @inkandpaintleopard showed the mod to me a while back and it just rotates around in my head sometimes

Also the mention of the Corruption mod just reminded me of when I first got into FNF pff

Neo Skid and Pump eventually get together. They each are the only people that they like

Soft Skid and Pump are the most outwardly sappy and sweet and it annoys everyone

Imp (B3 Skid) doesn’t talk

Melo (B3 Pump) summoned Imp one day so that he could have a friend

DJX Pump is the one more connected to the cult, and also usually takes the spotlight from Skid

Death (Arrow Funk Skid) has moral debates with himself all the time over whether or not he should kill Pumpkin (Arrow Funk Pump) when his time comes

D-Sides Pump’s body eventually rots away and becomes uninhabitable, so Pump’s spirit leaves, and Skid carries the trauma of watching his friend slowly dying for most of his childhood (I love the D-Sides boys can you tell)

B-Side Skid and Pump are both lowkey rich

Minus Skid is good at sewing

Starcatcher Skid and Pump (see my fanfic)

Corruption Skid and Pump still have enough mental capacity to recognize that they want to be with each other

Okay also. Since I spent a while ranting about how the OG Corruption mod did Lila so dirty, I wanna talk about a Corruption mod that does her so right!

Soo presenting: Hellbeats Corruption: Fallen Angels

It's an (unfortunately cancelled) mod created by buttercakeee. It combines the idea of the Corruption mod with the setting of the Hellbeats mod by RevenantDude, where everything is in Hell and the characters are either demons or angels

For additional context, Skid and Pump in Hellbeats were dragged to Hell by a demon (left ambiguous in the OG mod, but in FA it's specifically Moloch), unable to go back home or ascend to Heaven because of how much they messed with the occult. FA is likely the best someone has done them in a Corruption mod if not a FNF mod period, but I'm not talking about them right now, I'm talking about Lila!

So first off I wanna say that FA does the idea of using Lila to torment someone far, far, better with one little change: it's not the actual Lila. It is an illusion created by the corruption to break Skid's spirit and make him stop resisting, and she's not even the only one the Corruption shows Skid in this mauled state. We're even shown later on that Skid is not the only person the corruption has tried this trick on, as it does the same to Nene when she's facing off against a corrupted Darnell later

Making it an illusion rather than the real deal keeps the emotional torment it would do to Skid while keeping the actual Lila safe (relatively speaking- I'll get to that in a second). She's not actually horrifically maimed and trying to kill him, but Skid, still a frightened child, can't tell the difference, and even if he can tell the difference it's still traumatizing to experience either way

But enough about an illusion. Time for the real deal:

Empty Memories is an entire song dedicated to Lila in the aftermath of Skid and Pump being dragged to Hell. It is also the only song in the mod to be sung almost entirely by one character. We are just left to Lila, her thoughts, and her grief.

And I just-- GOD I love this song so much. It's genuinely so powerful and heart-wrenching -- we get to see Lila fall further and further into her grief, neglecting everything around her because she's consumed by so much regret and sadness and guilt over what happened to her baby boy that she can't move on. To the day she dies she can't stop thinking about where he could have gone.

And then she dies. She's in Heaven.

And despite her hopes, her son isn't there. He never will be.

So Lila is just left to stare down on the planet where her son's life was taken, where she spent most of her life wondering what happened to him, and continue to grieve.

It's SO tragic in the best way possible!! We KNOW Skid is in hell but Lila doesn't. Death should have been the release for her but it wasn't. She's still left with all the emotions she had when she was alive, forever.

Another thing I like about the song not related to the story is that Lila's chromatic is the best Lila chrom I've ever heard in a song that features her: it sounds almost exactly like her, and it feels SO emotional and real and it's just so good!!

Genuinely this mod is SO good, and unlike the original you can tell the creators of it cared about EVERYONE, not just the characters in FNF. I think my autism over the original corruption mod transferred over to this one and to this day I am SO sad it got cancelled because even with only three weeks and some change worth of songs it had sooo much potential

And Skid and Pump get four songs and, with the way the finished content plays out, are kinda the climax of the whole story

Kasumi’s family ran a cult and attempted to use her as a sacrifice for their dark god. In an attempt to get some form of comfort, she attempted a spell to bring her beloved plush to life like she had watched the others do. Except she summoned a demon… actually scratch that she summoned the dark god they were attempting to. And he did not take kindly to how they treated such a sweet thing. After destroying the rest of them, he now possesses her doll and makes her think that her spell worked, not wanting for her to learn that the very demon that was messing with her life ended up protecting her. Demons do have morals after all.
