So I decided to draw something about it

Nicco asked Ildio about other things that lived in the world...

He got a story with the answer too..

(This was in Ildio's human life btw I like to think that memory stuck with him forever-)

Also if you don't know La Llorona is "The Weeping Woman" she's from Hispanic fokelore and she's mainly used to scare little kids but I've been told by my abuelo that he's seen her when he was little {he has some crazy ass stories that are so interesting} and my dad (he didn't like that my mom joked about her) had also seen her along with many other reports but if you believe she exists or not is your choice I personally believe she's real (I remember my mom telling me "if you don't go to bed La Llorona is gonna get you" [same with El Cucuy] when I didn't want to go to sleep which got me to go to bed real quick-)

But basically she was the prettiest woman in her village and this rich handsome guy shows up and ends up wanting to marry her, they have kids but then one day she finds out he's leaving her for another woman, out of rage and wanting to hurt him she proceeds to drown her kids in the river, after she realizes what she did she drowns herself in the river But she wasn't allowed into heaven because she didn't have her kids so she is forced to roam the earth until she finds her children who are lost because of the river and when she finds them she will finally be able to rest but she can never find her kids so she cries out "Ay Mis Hijos" (meaning "oh my children") and is constantly crying and at night she snatches up kids thinking they're hers but when she realizes they aren't she drowns them too (in some places she specifically attacks men but it's different in every area)

So the entire point of the comic was when Ildio was a little kid he always heard the story but he never believed it until he saw her in person and she almost got him but didn't and that specific memory stuck with him even after he died
