輪行遠征用に小径車を導入しました。
コロナもようやく落ち着きつつある中で、そろそろ道外に旅行に行きたいなと思ったのですが、この数年は常に車と自転車、もしくはバイクを用いた旅しかしておらず、どこに行くにも「愛車で行かなきゃ」という思考がまとわりつくようになりました。 年に数回ある3~4連休で道外遠征を可能にするには、飛行機輪行一択です。また、このような遠征の場合は『距離を走ること』よりも『目的地で走ること』がメインになります。 で、あればフルサイズバイクより小径車、その中でも取り回しにステ振りしたバイクがいい。という選考理由でした。 珍しく実店舗で購入したのですが、来店した際偶然にも通販で返品(購入者都合)された個体があり、定価よりかなり値引きして買えました。運命的な出会いってやつです。
現状所有している自転車で唯一スタンドがついています。

CarryMeの初陣として人生初の九州へ。
往復の飛行機だけ手配し、それ以外は目的地も宿も何も決めずにリュック1個と自転車一台で福岡に行きました。

空港を出て自転車を組み立てた途端に雨が降り出し、初日はほぼ雨の中で暗くなるまで走っていました。 今回宿を手配せずに行ったのはホテルAZの存在を知っていたから。

九州にいる友人から「九州にはAZってローカルのビジネスホテルチェーンがあって郊外でも安く泊まれる」という前情報がなければここまでフッ軽な旅程は組まなかったでしょう。

初陣でドロドロになるキャリミくん。 気兼ねなくビジホに持ち込める自転車ってシュール。念のため了承得てます。

ここで今回のお詫びと反省点。あまりにも無計画に動きすぎたせいで、写真が少ない上に断片的なためまともな記録が書けません。 まぁ今回はキャリーミーの初陣と九州初上陸が目的でしたので、飛行機輪行をして九州で自転車に乗ったという結果だけでかなり満足しています。 次はもっと中身のある旅を目��す。
ただし食べ物はしっかり堪能してきたので別にまとめました。
