Hey guys so I was rewatching OPLA and uh.
They really carried that well theme through huh?
#one piece live action#one piece#roronoa zoro#ALSO#it actually is really a strikingly consistent metaphor#for those who are unaware “frog in a well” is the chinese proverb = to “big fish in a little pond”#and the well scene was ALSO when we originally saw Zoro's backstory#which had a specific focus on Kuina as his one unbeatable goal!#I wholeheartedly believe that until he fought Mihawk Kuina was the one person he felt like was actually better than him at swordplay#she was his “well” - he didn't even realize that there was so much else out there#anyways that was just an incredibly well done metaphor to call back to#I think its super cool that they thought to interweave the well scene with his backstory in the LA! Its gotta be 100% purposeful!#Also sidenote OPLA is the first OP thing I've actually watched so hello everyone insanity time :]#opla
