now, han couldn’t help but wonder whether this was part of an elaborate façade, an unnecessary continuation for the sake of appearances, or if this was a genuine naïveté he never saw coming.              half-draped over the bar top, solo took in the colorful scenery of club kasakar, downing the remaining half of his whiskey before slanting a pointed glance at the other man.

it was almost comical to consider, damned near absurd to even entertain the concept of opening up to anyone about anything.  what good would it do?  moreover, what could he say that wouldn’t immediately land him in a world of trouble?  ‘talking’ wasn’t meant for riffraff like himself—spacers whose lives often hinged on the mercurial moods of powerful men and women.  besides, unburdening to strangers was among the few tricky habits he’d managed to sidestep completely.  solo couldn’t imagine starting now, inside a seedy nightclub on the lower levels of coruscant, and with a total stranger to boot.

SHI’AL SWALLOWED THICKLY, deeply flattered by Anakin’s proclamation but nonetheless FIXATED upon a single word. The comment was undoubtedly meant to be ROMANTIC; however, she could not avoid the all-consuming REIGN of unexpected insecurity upon her aching heart.

Everything she knew about Riddick, what kind of man he was, it was obvious that he wasn't the relationship type by nature. She just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Their relationship had been professional in nature at first before he had warmed up to her, among other things.

I interact with both this account and @forcenexus — their Anakin Skywalker blog — frequently, and each time, I am astonished by their versatility as a roleplayer. They understand each of their canon characters on an intimate, multi-dimensional level no matter the fandom of origin, and it shows. All of their portrayals are crafted with great care, and it is evident that they are passionate about the characters that they portray. In this house we adore and stan Emyrs 🙏🏻

⠀⠀When you sent me this set of prompts, the first question that popped into my mind was can I list Panda as the answer for every single one of these? We started writing together a few months ago, and each of her original characters are so well developed that I can easily envision them as canonical characters within their media of origin. Whether introduced into the silly little universe that we have created together long ago or recently, each of these characters have all achieved the rare status of becoming three-dimensional, layered beings. Aurelia Pta’hoa (Jedi!Shi’al’s mama master! Dooku’s wife!) and Sutek Met’hark in particular come to mind; these two characters are classified amongst the ranks of my most favorite characters that I’ve written against during my time as a roleplayer. If you write with Panda, prepare for angst :)

Anakin didn't really want to admit to Rex that he was stubborn but the wound on his side said otherwise as they hid in a cave with a storm passing through. "Those damn droids really are getting smarter." He groaned as he glanced over. "Don't happen to have a stim on you, do you?"

In times of war, it's important to be open-minded and resourceful. Although he likes to think he possessed such qualities before being put under Skywalker's command, they've definitely further developed after. Anakin is the poster child of out-of-the-box (and borderline impulsive) thinking. "You could say that again," Rex sighs, popping his pack open and digging out the stim. Thankfully he's gotten into the habit of always packing one more stim than he thinks he needs, otherwise, Anakin would be out of luck.

Passing the stim to Anakin, he turns on his helmet light and peers deeper into the cave. "This cave is deeper than it looks on the outside... Think it loops around?"

"I don't like the look of this, Master-" She confides. The ramifications were MOUNTAINOUS if they were caught in the act of TRESSPASSING by the chancellor or his protectors. Still, Ahsoka had vowed to follow Anakin wherever he willed to go. No amount of hesitation would convince him this feat was beyond the impossible.
