i genuinely do not think that the red sequoia dick comment in too much birthday is the gayest moment in that scene. i think there is something much more honest and real in the earnest panic of tom saying "this is not a razz. you shouldn't even be really thinking about her"

#forgive me for being briefly sincere about tomgreg its been a long day.#but i just think like. if i squinted i could probably read the red sequoia thing as i) provoked and ii) frat boy locker room talk whereas #the only reason i can think tom would have to say 'you shouldnt even be thinking about her' is to protect the joint defence against kendall #and that is not mentioned once. the writers only contextualize it with 'she's out of your league'. the only motivation tom has there is to #keep greg on his leash
