being in my 20s is like I understand more of my mother and less than i ever have. My childhood friends are strangers to me and there’s no one i know better. i want to drink wine. i never stopped wanting to climb trees. i know more than I’ve ever known before. I don’t know anything at all. i’m seven years old and sixteen and twenty nine and seventy. I can’t tell when i'm happy. I think the only thing that will make me happy is to be little again. i want to be really old. i go to the ocean and feel like nothing matters more than that. in my bedroom everything matters so much. I go to the grocery store every day. i know how to cook a lot of things but the only thing i know how to eat is fried eggs. I can take care of myself but i want to be taken care of. i want to go home and I don't know where that is. i think it may be somewhere inside of me but i’m not sure

How it feels to have legitimately enjoyed The Last Temptation of Jerry
#I didn't care for the plot but this episode had good rick and morty interactions#also it was nice to see rick acknowledge summer instead of waltzing off with morty and leaving her alone#rick and morty

Some days ago i was talking with some people about Rick and Morty and they were saying that they don't find the show as funny as it used to be, which honestly i don't disagree but honestly i watch the most recent seasons for the character arcs and for occasional episodes that tackle a complicated topic (Analyze Piss) or do something interesting with a typical trope (The Jerrick Trap) rather than for the comedy
#yeah I think seasons 1-5 were the funniest but later seasons have better character development#rick and morty

Rick and Morty: The Little Moments 3

- I’m just a kid and, uh, dumb.
[Holds unblinking expression for a full five seconds]
[Morty grabbie grabbie ear]
[Rick does his classic cute hair ruffle]

- Love ya grampa Rick.
- Don’t make it weird |:(

- I-ar-Is- aren’t you pointing at a hammer…?
- Fine, give me the hammer then, genius!

It will never not be wild to me that the job Beth feels like she settled for is being an equine surgeon.
Like yeah, a horse surgeon ain't no human surgeon; but it still requires a ton of work. Like first, you have to finish college, go to vetinary school post-grad; then take a specialized course to become an equine surgeon.
Like becoming an equine vet can take around 8 years, with even more years added if you want to become a surgeon.
Also she says she put herself through vetinary school. Implaying she either, worked (while being a teen parent) to pay for school; or she managed to land a scholarship (which doesn't seem out of the question considering we know that Beth is pretty smart)

And she also does work on race horses; not pet/hobby horses. So she must be pretty damned qualified because those kinds of horses are worth a lot more money.

ALL OF THIS WHILE BEING A TEEN PARENT
Like Jesus Beth, all things considered, for someone who got pregnant in highschool, whose dad left, and who had a single mother/dead mother (unclear), she managed to actually get really far career wise.
