Genesis having a disgustingly, huge crush on Cloud and Cloud not being able to tell because he has a head thicker than a brick wall is so funny.

The irony of this is that Genesis is like... the ultimate romantic. So he's pulling out all the stops to woo Cloud, and getting increasingly infuriated when it doesn't work. He even begins to think Cloud may not be interested in him, but surely that's impossible, because who wouldn't be interested in him?

Meanwhile Cloud is over here like: "Genesis sure spends a lot of time around Seventh Heaven. He must really like Tifa's cocktails."

"Genesis won't stop asking me to spar with him, he says he 'loves the challenge,' whatever that means. I'm glad he enjoys fighting as much as I do."

"Genesis keeps making me preen his wing, he's so lazy."

Idiots. He'll realize it someday. Eventually. (It either hits him randomly or Genesis finally loses it and spells things out explicitly lol.)
