Intro Post

Hello. It's Megalo Don. I extend my heartfelt apologies to my arch nemesi, Hope and Jones, for the reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated! I took a vacation. The itinerary was 'going into hiding to avoid being captured by Dr. Mommy Issues from another dimension'. Read a few books. Self-reflected. Tried meditation... unsuccessfully. Watched a few movies. Remembered I hated movies. It was all very enlightening.

I should stay in hiding longer, but I'm BORED. I miss my people! I miss my radio! I miss my car! Plus, I've seen other me-snapshots around here. I want in on the fun! As such, I would like to extend my talents to this 'Underground'. Or 'Avengers' (what are you calling yourselves right now, anyway?). I believe we can put our differences aside for the greater good of ripping that 'doctor' into tiny pieces and feeding him to my fishies. You get your lackluster island, I get fish food... deal?

Spotlight on Kado!

After narrowly escaping the events of C4S4 with his life, Kado rode out the shock waves of The Big Bang to end up on Helios prior to the events of C5S1. Content to bide his time and regroup, his presence on the island has remained subtle, save for the few remaining pieces of his collection that crash landed on the island alongside him.

He's been keeping close tabs on the island's inhabitants and their struggles, though the escape of Midas was something he failed to expect. With the island free from the iron rule of gods, Kado has taken an interest in the vacant throne and currently resides near Charon's Crossing.

While he's finally showing his face, Kado is keen to keep his vampiric identity hidden for as long as he can manage to keep such an ace up his sleeve. Ill intentions aside, he's about as friendly as a prissy appreciator of the finer things in life can be. He's easily won over through gifts of high value, eager to rebuild his once formidable collection from the ground up.

Although a vampire, his ancient existence has granted him resilience to the sun and other typical detriments. Still, he prefers to avoid the unrelenting heat of the new wasteland whenever possible.

Nobody on the island is from his normal timeline, but he's most often found interacting with @valeria-fortnite and @king-midas-fortnite.

Taco taco taco!

*This time @nolan-chance-fortnite did not forget, he let Kado know beforehand he was going, and it was clear the message was received since the staff of the resort didn't try to kick him out as soon as they saw him.

Now he was just waiting, patiently. He knew he was a busy man, he had to take care of the resort, and of that delicious food for sure. So, there he was, waiting, with his luggage in hand, because he was almost sure Kado would love to spend the night with him*

(Kado was in the break room with several employees, helping to set up the food. There was a huge assortment of tacos, as well as a variety of sides and drinks.)

(As he was placing things on a table, he suddenly got a call on his work phone. He answered and spoke to the receptionist, who alerted him that Nolan had arrived.)

(With an eager grin, Kado headed to the lobby, seeing Nolan waiting on a chair. Once he reached him, he extended his arms for a hug.)

Nolan! I'm so glad you're here. Planning to stay awhile, huh? (He said as he eyed the large duffel bag.)
