To where the shadow
Replicates
What your heart knows:
The lives
The parks
The bustling city
That seems so quiet
And yet flows,
Even when appearing
To hold its breath
In forced repose.

Tuesday Photo Challenge Week 196–Trees
Tuesday Photo Challenge Week 196–Trees
Angel Trumpet. It’s not technically a tree, but growing as one here.
Tuesday Photo Challenge—Trees
This is one of the many Angel Trumpet plants I have around my house. In this case the Angel Trumpet has decided to grow as a tree.
These flowers for the most part only last in its original beauty one day. At night their smell is amazing. It might just be me, but I can’t smell them during the day.

Tuesday Photo Challenge ” Wonder”
You look’n at me?
“I got your back.” One blue jay kept a close eye on me while his flock had breakfast in my front yard. If I’m late putting out the feed, there is a lot of complaining by these guys.
They are not the only friends that show up every morning.
Everyone gets along
Hey! I’m eat’n here.

Tuesday Photo Challenge-Yellow
Autumn is my favorite time of year for pictures. The mountains and hillsides seem to explode with color. What was a simple patch of trees becomes an amazing quilt of color.
I ran across this tree in mid change, having already blanketed the ground with fallen leaves. With the sun behind it, the yellow leaves seemed to glow.

Overhead- Paris
I had another photo challenge come up in my Reader tonight. This one is the Tuesday Photo Challenge hosted on the Dutch Goes the Photopage. This week’s theme is: Overhead.
I took these 3 photos in Paris last winter. This first one is the ceiling over a stairway at the Palace of Versaillesjust outside Paris.
Hard to believe they spend so much time and effort on a ceiling, big contrast to…

Trusting in My Inner Guidance – One Week Before I Move! ~ Debbie Roth #writephoto
I got into an argument with David the other night, right before he left for the Swiss Alps. It was over something “small” yet it felt big. And when I woke up in the morning, I got clearly inside that this was not about being fair.
It was about being loving.
As I went on my morning run, I opened my heart to why he may have reacted the way he did – what his mindset could have been. And I deeply…

Tuesday Photo Challenge – In My Life
Tuesday Photo Challenge – In My Life
This week, Tuesday Photo Challenge wants us to showcase something that is a big part of our life.
In my life – apart from my family, the biggest part is of course occupied by Books. This picture is taken in the famous book-street of Kolkata – college street – where I spend a lot of time searching for books. When I am old and cannot move much – I wish – I will have my own library where I will…

Palmer’s Island Lighthouse in the harbor of New Bedford, MA. USA
A lighthouse was built on the northern point of the island for $1,951 by Charles M. Pierce, a mason. It was first lighted on August 30, 1849, by William Sherman (sometimes spelled Shearman), the keeper. The 24-foot…
