Can someone tell me what gtn/The Locked Tomb series is actually about? Unfortunately when people recommend it they often just say "lesbians necromancers in space" and that just ain't enough,,, but I see it all over my dash and I'm curious 👀

#i also keep seeing absolutely buckwild things from it completely out of context and im more confused #about what this series is actually about than ever #i also can no longer tell what genre it is bc latest reports say it's a space opera locked room mystery #i admit i did actually try to read it once but i didn't make it through a single chapter bc i hated the writing style so much #does that get better? is the shenanigans and actual story worth it?#frankly im sick of getting queer media reps that actually suck and are poor quality but ppl go nuts for the queer bit alone #im worried this is another one of those but frankly the reports sound wild and i kind of want to know what the hell is going on 😂#like is Gideon dead? a walking corpse? are they not with harrow? did someone fuck god?? and WHAT is the arm scene???#apparently there's catholicism for their world too and god is a mess and there's Some Guy who sucks involved in that #i have zero clue what this series is about anymore every new thing i see makes me more confused and bewildered #but chaos reigns so i might need to find a way to muster through it lol #anyways 👀
