S/O Wearing Glasses Headcanons

William James Moriarty, Sebastian Moran, Fred Porlock, and Von Herder

William James Moriarty

The first time he saw you wearing them, he thought you looked adorable.

He likes shopping for frames with you but is unhelpful when picking one since he thinks all of them suit you.

He buys you extra pairs just in case you break or lose yours.

He would be the one to remind you for check-ups if you would always forget or only go when you need a new pair.

When he sees your glasses covered in smudges, he always cleans them for you and puts them back in your case in secret.

However, you always figure out it was him with how neatly folded the cloth was and how your glasses looked brand new.

If you're spending time in the library, William would steal more glances at you while you're both reading.

He has definitely hidden your glasses from you or held them high enough for you not to reach them and asks for a kiss.

One time, you lost your glasses and used his cane to walk around to look for them, thinking you would only use it for a short while.

When he was looking for his cane and found you, he helped you find your glasses and had a special punishment in mind, saying how dangerous it is to use his cane without his permission and just ask him for help next time.

Sebastian Moran

He has definitely called you, Moneypenny, and Paterson the three blind mice at one point.

If you don't wear your glasses outside, he'll be confused and encourage you to wear them, wanting you to be careful.

If you still refuse to wear them, he'll try not to show it, but he'll be more protective of you.

Make sure you stay on the safe side of the sidewalk, always holding your hand and reading things for you if you don't see them.

If you ever feel insecure about them, he reassures you that you look beautiful with them on or not.

He doesn't want to admit it, but seeing you wear glasses does something to him.

He has also held your glasses hostage, holding them up as you try to reach them while teasing you for a kiss or attention.

He has also stolen your glasses at one point and tried them on.

Once, you broke your glasses by accident and could barely tell who's who, resorting to you getting as close as possible to identify them. William and Louis were the hardest ones to recognize from afar.

Sebastian got annoyed with how close you got while squinting your eyes that he made sure he always had a backup pair ready for you.

Fred Porlock

He thinks you look cute in them.

He tries not to stare when you wear them.

When you're shopping for frames, he likes watching you try them on.

Sometimes, he'll shyly recommend you one that he thinks would suit you.

He'll also wipe your glasses when he sees them covered in smudges or you're having a hard time seeing through them.

When he notices your eyes starting to strain, he'll ask when was the last time you had a check-up and join you for one if you want.

If he sees you leave your glasses somewhere, he always takes them with him and gives them to you when you remember.

Whenever you lose your glasses, Fred already has three guesses on where it is.

His favorite memory was when you were looking for your glasses, and he saw that it's on your head, so Fred just placed them down and watched you turn red.

He promised not to tell anyone about it, but he smiles to himself whenever he remembers it.

Von Herder

Whenever you break your glasses or lose them, he'll make you a new pair with a specially designed frame and accessories.

If you want a new glass style or have a design in mind you want to try, Herder will happily make it for you.

He has definitely teased you by pushing the temple tips up and down to get your attention.

Whenever you go for a check-up and buy new glasses, Herder will act dramatically and accuse you of cheating.

He makes you a better-looking pair with your new prescription and makes the one you bought your backup.

When you lose your glasses, Herder always helps you out since he can navigate just fine, even without vision.

If you tend to misplace your glasses or accidentally fall asleep with them on, he takes them and places them somewhere safe and within your reach.

However, one day, he was feeling playful. When you left your glasses at his work, he diligently cleaned them while you were looking for them around.

He patiently waited until you asked for his help, and he just put them on you and asked what you were doing so close to the firearms.

Whether you tell him Sebastian asked for your help in taking some guns or lie your way out is up to you.

MANIPULATION and mind games are a favourite of their's. They twist and turn their words - coating their venomous sentences with honey to hide their true intentions.

“I love you like a grave loves it's corpse; you rot into me while I embrace your decay. Where else would you find somebody like me?”

They are more subtle and discrete than the rest. And yet, they're the most dangerous out of all. They mess with your mind - loosening your screws and bending you to their will.

You shrivel, unsure of how to respond. “I-” You look away, not sure where to direct your gaze. “I can't.. because there's nobody else like you. There won't ever be anyone else like you.”

They tip your chin upwards to meet your gazw, a victorious smile gracing their facial features. “You're correct. You never can.”

They play the role of a god - a saviour, something holy that it seems almost comical to expect something dark out of them. They scheme right under your nose and yet they're completely unnoticeable - so when you're finally their's and in their complete grasp, you won't even be aware of what hit you.

STALKING you is like second nature to them. They've memorized your sleeping schedule, when you get in and out of work or your educational institution, the type of food you eat and avoid, the places you frequent, etc.

They're on the more quieter side, similar to the manipulators. Yet, they won't initiate direct contact with you. Atleast not yet.

They watch silently as you move on about your day from the cracks of your doors or your windows, any opening that is accessible for them to get a view of you.

“Oh!” You gasp, bumping into somebody's shoulder as you get out of the subway. “I'm so very sorry! I didn't mean to—”

The figure disappears. You don't remember their face and all you have of them is now a love letter that appeared out of nowhere, the words written in blood.

You'll find remnants of their presence in the place where you live or go to work for/study. Footprints, gifts, shards of glass - etcetera, etcetera. Did they break into your house?

DEVOTION is the first word that comes into your mind when you look at them. They obsess over you like canines - clawing and sharp, salivating and perspiring. It's messy.

They find their God in you. For them, ichor runs in your blood and they lick it off your wounds like the nectar the divine consume.

They are the most violent, most agressive and the loudest of the three. They tend to be overprotective and all consuming.

Bodies are slit and stabbed, throats and heads are beheaded and cut, entrails are put up as if they were decorations or stepping stones for the things or lives it took to get to you.

“Nobody,” They begin, wiping away the smudge of blood on their upper lip. “Nobody can seperate you from me. I will crawl back to you from the devil's grasp if you call me.”

I always have mixed feelings on the differences between manga and anime. but one that really bugs me is how in the first episode of Moriarty the Patriot Williams smokes. Very much like it's, while not normal, also not out of character.

But in the manga we only see him smoke once, when he's really getting deep into the Final Problem. In a moment of pure honesty with Fred, and it's part of how you can see just how much his actions are weighing on him. He even comments how much he dislikes smoking, it feels dirty. And a few panels later he puts it out. It's his one moment.

¹Suicide Act 1961. This act removed suicide as a crime in England and Wales, meaning those who survived a suicide attempt could not be prosecuted. Family members of those who did not survive could no longer be prosecuted either. However, under Suicide Act 1961, Section 2, it remains a crime for a third party to encourage or assist in the suicide of another.

²Terrorism or Organised Crime (or both)

Definitions:

Terrorism: The unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

Organised crime: Criminal activities that are planned and controlled by powerful groups and carried out on a large scale.

The motive of organised crime is often, but not always, financial.

The Moriarty Plan is a force of violence with the intention of political change. This violence is commited against their home country meaning this is domestic terrorism. They have no wish for financial gain, however, because they are commiting crimes that are planned and controlled, this is also organised crime. Those directly involved in The Moriarty Plan and its execution are therefore guilty of both terrorism and organised crime.

³The Gun License Act 1870. This act meant that anyone may still purchase a gun, however a license was required to have one off your personal property for any reason. This means that James Bonde and Sebatian Moran are both guilty of illegal possession of a firearm as they are both legally dead and therefore cannot have a gun license. However, Sherlock, William and Von Herder are never disclosed to have a gun license but this does not mean they do not have one as they would be perfectly elligable to get one. If they do all own a gun license, this takes Sherlock's crimes down to 5, William's crimes down to 29 and Von Herder's crimes down to 7.

Yuumori Characters as Disney Princesses (cus I’m bored :))

I’m gonna preface this by saying that some of these you’re just gonna have to trust me on cus I chose them just from pure vibes alone and went from there. I also haven’t re-read/watched Yuumori in a while nor have I watched any Disney movies as of late so again, just trust me bro lmao. I came up with most of these at 2am so sorry in advance.

Liam - Aurora/Sleeping Beauty

So this one is mostly just cus they both ended up sleeping for a long ass time lmao. Liam was in a coma after the fall for x months and Aurora was cursed to an eternal sleep unless her true love kissed her awake (we won’t talk about the horrors of the original fairytale, I’ve tried to blank that out of my memory tyvm). They’re also both blondes…uh huh. Aurora doesn’t have much personality that I can remember other than being an animal lover and a good singer so…that’s just all I have lmao. I also just think Liam would make a very cute Sleeping Beauty lmao.

Albert - Jasmine

I did consider giving Albert Rapunzel cus of the whole locked away in a tower thing, but outside of that and having shitty mothers (Mother Gothel wasn’t even Rapunzel’s real mother but still) there isn’t much similarity personality wise? Idk. I picked Jasmine just cus they both come from rich families yet have no patience for other rich people. Jasmine also disguised herself and went into the town/city to pretend she was a normal person and that feels kinda Albert-ish? They’re also both smart and sarcastic so Y’know.

Louis - Cinderella

This one feels kinda obvious lmao. Both were raised by awful rich people who treated them like a servant, both were orphans and both tended to the upkeep of their homes. I do think Louis has more of a backbone than Cinderella, especially towards the end of Part 1 of the manga. Also again: both are blondes lmao.

Moran - Merida

So…this one is mostly vibes but also not. I think Moran has a similar wild streak to Merida and accidentally turning a loved one into a bear because he didn’t watch his wording when asking a witch for a spell sounds like something Moran might do? Bear (hah) in mind I haven’t re-read Yuumori in a while so I may be wrong on that. Also I guess bows and arrows were the guns before guns were invented so…so there’s that lmao.

Bonde - Mulan

Feels like another obvious one? They both disguised their genders to achieve a goal (although I did interpret James to be a trans man whereas Mulan wasn’t rly? Cus she went back to presenting as female after the war so idk). They’re also both pretty outspoken and don’t care for the roles society has put them in as women and actively break that stigma (Mulan by going to war and James by often dressing as men even before he transitioned). Idk I just like this one lmao.

Fred - Snow White

Again, this is mostly vibes. I’m pretty sure Snow White is the youngest of the Disney Princesses at 14 (Don’t quote me on that cus I could be wrong), so I feel like that parallels Fred being the youngest of the Crime Gang. Snow White also has a connection to animals which can also connect to Fred’s love of cats and nature in general as he does most (all?) of the gardening. I think they’re both pretty quiet and shy and that’s all I really have lmao.

Mycroft - Megara

Okay, okay, relax, I know Megara isn’t an official Disney Princess (she SHOULD be, but whatever), but she’s the only one I could really see as being similar to Mycroft? Ya’ll are really just gonna have to trust me on this one lmao. I just think they’re both pretty independent and cynical and sarcastic and just…I really don’t know the vibes just fit, I can’t explain it.

Sherlock - Ariel

OKAY👏HEAR👏ME👏OUT. This is the only one I’m 100% confident on BSJDNKFS. They both have a niche obsession that they collect items from, Ariel with humans and Sherlock with Mysteries/Crime. They both make massive life changes for the man they love (a man which, by the way, they barely knew lmao), Ariel in becoming human and Sherlock by leaving his life, family & friends behind to live with Liam in New York. They also almost died to achieve this, Sherl from leaping off a goddamn bridge to save Liam and Ariel by her deal with Ursula. IT WORKS, I’M TELLING YOU.

That’s all I have, I was gonna do other characters but I just hit a brick wall with it lmao. (I considered John to be either Tiana or Belle, but I’ll leave that up to you 👀)

My dear mtp fandom, I am either the stupidest person alive, or I have made a discovery but I've seriously never heard that theory anywhere on the internet before.

Keep in mind it's just a theory and I could be wrong.

So, we've all been having this question for a long time now; what's beneath Fred's bandages? I personally thought at first that it was some sort of injury from his past that he felt the need to conceal. Though, upon looking at the cover of the ninth volume, I noticed something.

Beneath his bandages we can see scribblings. And if you look further, the letters are English, and in the pocket of his shirt there's a pen.

And we also know that he is the best informant in all of London so... See where this us is going? He is keeping notes of the information he's collecting and conceals it with the bandages!!

Please, please tell me if someone has come up with a similar theory, or if it's already canon and I'm literally embarrassing myself lol.
