just watched through the kung fu panda trilogy and i feel so much better
#mb part of it was i cried during each one#also a thought#why do we esp vidyagame devs chase ultra-phototrealism when it doesn't really add that much* to how good a thing looks#like tools of today with good art direction and you get amazing looking things such as these movies#like the pursuit for better looking models could still continue#just doesnt need them to be in every new AAA release#free up ur budget and manpower to focus on smth else#THIS APPLIES TO ANIMATED MOVIES TOO OFC#like i know its tired at this point but did the lion king really need to be like... /that/
